Burned Nuts 12/22/2006 at 05:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe's instructions are vague. The time to bake is inappropriate as the nuts burned before the "seven minute" check point. Choose another recipe! Not so spicy 12/13/2006 at 11:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Not impressed with this recipe. The nuts burnt and did not hold the spices and appealing flavor I expected. THey were nothing special 12/08/2006 at 11:19pm User: Sherry from Grapevine, TX User Rating: They were just not what I expected and others didn't seem to care for them. burned nuts 12/07/2005 at 10:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Horrible recipe! Did not see the episode but at 400 F all the nuts were burning after just 5 minutes in the oven. Recommend possibly lowering the temp and cooking slightly longer...but I won't be wasting any more time and money on this one. GREAT!! 10/10/2005 at 08:20pm User: Anonymous User Rating: DELICIOUS!!! Taste like popcorn 08/03/2005 at 09:18pm User: RYAN from Ames, IA User Rating: The almonds tasted like popcorn after cooking them not what i thought 05/22/2006 at 05:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: they were good for snacking, but not what i thought? I thought they would have more flavor, but the flavor was mild. Still good though. I would eat them if they were in front of me. Not so very impressed 03/17/2006 at 12:35pm User: Michelle from Gilbert, AZ User Rating: I agree with the reviewer who said the temp was too high. Mine started burning about 15 minutes into it. If I was to try this recipe again I would lower the temp. of the oven. Not as much flavor as I had hoped for but I'm willing to take responsibility for that one. I'll add more chili powder or try other combinations. For some reason my husband did like them. Love them nuts 01/28/2006 at 03:56pm User: NINA from Sacramento, CA User Rating: Love the spiced nuts. For a little extra kick, I added a little cayenne pepper. |
