Delicious and very easy to make. Try using a sprinkle of paprika and bake with onions as well; it adds a nice kick to it. The entire family loved the recipe.

Always delicious! I'm Italian & I grew up on this pot recipe. Try other herbs & use combinations of herbs if desired. Rosemary is one of my favorites, though. I use much less EVOO as is called for in this recipe & my potatoes never end up dry. Did Michael use garlic? Definitely use garlic!! Onions aren't bad either, but traditionally not added.

I think most all the FoodNetwork stars have a variation of this recipe. It is standard except for the herbs of your choice and maybe Italian onions, like in Giada's recipe, which is also outstanding! Roasting veggies with olive oil is a healthy alternative and my family and I love them this way. Just use the herbs/root veggies that you and your family like best.

While watching this on the show, it looked and sounded so good, that we made it the next night here at home. I was not happy with it at all. They were dry, and no taste what so ever. I had to add tons of salt to have any taste on them. I was unhappy and so was the rest of my family.

Wonderful!

The olive oil has a less pleasing flavor than butter. Average at best.
