I made this for a party last night and everyone absolutely LOVED it! They all asked for the recipe and couldn't believe how easy it was! Next time I will use more peaches and maybe some blueberries as well.

I made a few changes... I add ground cloves (because I love it) to the spice mix and I used pecans, because that's what I had in the cupboard. I also used a little more than half the spice mix in the fruit mix and the remaining, I added to the biscuit mix. I decided to mix up a more spice mix with brown sugar instead of white sugar and tossed the pecans in it before putting them on the top. Everyone loved it!!! Next time, I'm going to use apples instead of peaches...

Fantastic!

Prepared this in a cast-iron skillet, using Bisquick (rather than Jiffy, and didn't even measure--just a glob) and a mix of peaches and blueberries (which was just what I had in the freezer). It turned out great, although I made it twice and I think sprinkling the top with all the spices and the sliced almonds is just a touch of overkill. Anyway, it was juicy and fragrant and flavorful and just beautiful. Thank you!

We loved it

I made this cobbler for my husband and our friends that we had over for dinner - everyone loved it!! I even doubled up on the nutmeg (by accident - oops!) and it still came out good (with an extra spicy kick)... Will definitely make this again. I might double up on the peaches though. More fruit would make me happy!

The peaches were good, and very tasty but the idea for the crust was not at all. The crust did not cook very well over the peaches in some places, not to mention the taste was not that great.

Fantastic

This recipe is simple to make, yet impressive when serving. I serve it with whipped cream.

was about to make the cobbler when i read the ingredients on the biscuit mix box. it contains lard which is pig fat. im wondering if a vegetarian can use it. if not what is the substitute for it. i must also say the finished product looked absolutely mouth watering on tv.

Yummy and easy

I just made this recipe with thinly-sliced fresh New Jersey peaches AND sprinkled fresh New Jersey blueberries on top before the biscuit mix (I skipped the raisins this time). Divine! The biscuit mix in packets is great to have handy--make this dessert soon!

Very impressed with this recipe. I left out the raisins and I didn't have any almonds so I used pecans. I will make it alot.

This was very easy to prepare, but don't let that fool anybody. Every body loved it. I had to make a second cobbler in order to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth.

Thought it was really good although a bit heavy on the spices..for a 8x8 pan, I used 2 pkgs of the peaches and 2 biscuit mixes..kept the rest of the recipe the same...had to cook it a bit longer than stated, but overall, enjoyed it..I make it often..easy and fast

I used Splenda sweetener instead of sugar and you couldn't tell. We had it as a breakfast sans ice cream, very good.

I LOVE peach cobbler and this one fell way short. The filling was bad...peaches were hard, and the topping was bland. Will not make again, seeing as how easy cobbler is to make in the first place I'm not sure why I even bothered.
