Refreshing Summer Drink!

I made this recipe for a family BBQ, and it was a great hit! I cut the rum down by half (1 liter for 8 servings seemed very excessive), and made a separate pitcher with no alcohol (replaced the rum with more club soda), for the non-drinkers. Both received lots of compliments! This is definitely a do-over recipe, the simple syrup made it so easy and exceptionally tasty.

Tasty!

I made these for a dinner party, and they were a big hit! For the non-drinkers in the group, we made the exact same recipe, except we increased the soda water and added in some 7-Up. The lime syrup was great...no grittiness in the drink, waiting for the sugar to dissolve. This is the process I will use from now on to make any summer drinks (including lemonade).

Best Mojito in town

I made several batches of this drink to serve on my boat this summer. It was a great hit. Easy to make and put in a jug thermos for all I got really great responses and turned many people into Mojito fans.

Try adding some orange zest to syrup and muddle in some fresh orange with the lime and mint. I get request for this at every party!

This is a great recipe. The mint syrup is now a summer staple in our frig. we drink it without alcohol with a splash of lime juice and bubbly mineral water.

I love this mojito..it is the best ever. Recently I had a party that included young ones and wanted to give them something fancy to drink. I simply mixed the simple syrup with the mint and lime and added club soda to it for the kids! Garnished with lime and mint and they thought they were too cool. They loved it...now I have something new in my arsenal for kids!!

I saw this episode on two separate occasions, but it wasn't until Memorial Day that I finally decided to try it out. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was especially pleased that it turned out so well. I didn't read the recipe very closely as to how much it should have made. I ended up needing 2 pitchers for all of it.

too minty
