Chocolate on cardboard 04/11/2008 at 06:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Kind-of tastes like chocolate on chewy bread...would recommend using a cookie crust rather than the pizza crust. Try It 01/06/2008 at 04:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Another homerun! I just made this today, on a typical lazy Sunday and what a treat! My husband doesn't like white chocolate and I didn't have the hazelnuts, so I tried a different route by splitting up the pizza with different ingredients. Half was just the semi sweet and milk chocolate, a quarter included the white chocolate for me, and for the the remaining quarter I added some Heatlh Bar topping that was hanging out in my pantry. Perfect! One slice is all you need to crush you craving, but the time was worth it! BEST DESSERT PIZZA!!! 11/16/2007 at 05:16pm User: Nora from Palos Heights, IL User Rating: I made this for a quick b-day celebration for my husband w/my kids. The kids had a blast making the pizza and it tasted heavenly. And, u can decorate it a thousand different ways. And, if u don't have time u can buy the store-bought dough which tastes just as delicious. "If" you have leftovers I recommend microwaving it a few minutes before serving. Yumm....... 10/20/2007 at 06:55pm User: Anonymous User Rating: oh my god. this dish was so good i couldnt believe it. i loved the creamy chocolate mixed with the chocolate chips that had a cruch to 'em. i would definitaly recommend this dish to other people. Perfect to satisfy a chocolate craving. Party pleaser 09/03/2007 at 09:30am User: Becky from Marthasville, MO User Rating: Delicious! I made this for a party of 10 people. It's so rich that we had leftovers. This is where I learned how to make pizza dough in a food processor -- timesaver! I will now try to make calzones using the same pizza dough recipe... Great 08/29/2007 at 04:01pm User: Jennifer from Minneapolis, MN User Rating: I thought that this recipe was so tasty!! I made it to bring to a book club get together. It was pretty quick to make before I went and traveled just fine. All my friends devoured this awesome treat. Next time I may try some other flavored chips? NUTELLA RULES ALL 08/22/2007 at 07:56pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Despite the fact that Giada is really annoying, I love the recipes she puts out. This one tops the list! I love love LOVE Nutella and I had to hide this pizza from my mom! Delicious! amazing! 08/10/2007 at 02:17pm User: Lauren from Coppell, TX User Rating: I admit that I was a novice cook when I made this, and made many mistakes while doing so. Even so, this came out fantastic and I will definitely make this again! Oh, and don't mix up wax paper with parchment paper... Yeah, that kinda messed me up a bit :] Yum! 07/25/2007 at 05:10pm User: Erin from West Palm Beach, FL User Rating: The pizza was a little messy, but delicious! The Nutella is gooey right out of the oven. Just have napkins on hand and you will be fine! Very chocolate-y! 07/08/2007 at 09:14pm User: Lindsay from Wake Forest, NC User Rating: This dessert pizza was quite tasy. I had never made a sweet pizza at home before, but this turned out pretty good. I used store bought pizza dough and it was delish. I'd recommend going a little light on the amount of chocolate/white chocolate chips because too much makes it go overboard w/sweetness of the nutella. Other than that, very good. family surprise 06/26/2007 at 07:56pm User: share from schenectady, NY User Rating: this is the best thing i can surprise my family with on holidays di duh di 06/24/2007 at 10:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: dude its chocolate...need i say more? Simple and Chocolatey 05/20/2007 at 09:13pm User: Daniel from St. Clair Shores, MI User Rating: Using store-bought pizza dough made it really quick and easy. The flavor wasn't anything to rave about, but it was still a nice dessert. I recommend putting slices of strawberries on right before eating. Wonderful 05/14/2007 at 11:49pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Not only super easy and quick to make but sooooo delicious. It's such an easy tasty treat : ) very good 05/09/2007 at 09:56pm User: Anonymous User Rating: easy and fun to make with the kids. Only complaint would be its very sweet, but thats fine with me. Terrific and super easy to make... 03/30/2007 at 10:23pm User: EILEEN from SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA User Rating: I used Pillsbury Pizza dough because I was in a hurry and it worked great. Perfect taste and amazingly easy and quick to make. A must for a chocolate loving husband! Delicious! 02/23/2007 at 12:16pm User: Renee from Romulus, MI User Rating: Very unique idea for entertaining. Easy to prepare (I am used to making homemade pizza though). Don't go overboard on the nutella and make sure you use the exact amount of chocalate morsels the recipe says to. Excellent! your Friends, kids, party diva 02/12/2007 at 12:54pm User: lorraine from lithia, FL User Rating: you must try it out of this world. chocolate pizza 02/11/2007 at 11:16am User: carol from fayetteville, NC User Rating: Chocolate pizza is a easy food to make. I make this with my child at home. My child likes it very much. It makes a great lunch my daughter. Great Super Bowl snack 02/05/2007 at 08:50am User: Trista from Pittsburgh, PA User Rating: I served pizza with homemade sauce at my superbowl party and this was a perfect way to finish off the meal. Everyone loved it! It was great warm, but I think it was even better after it cooled. It is also very rich, so I served it with some whipped cream! Two of my Favorite things 01/23/2007 at 12:01am User: Jodi from Maumee, OH User Rating: This was so easy to do and everyone loved it at our party. Giada's Chocolate Pizza 01/17/2007 at 09:54am User: Anonymous User Rating: Very easy to make, and the kids love it! just O.K. 01/14/2007 at 02:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I actually made this more for a friend than for me. I'm not that crazy about chocolate. It was just O.K. I think I'd rather have homemade chocolate pudding. Delicious 01/12/2007 at 08:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: A delicious receipe!! It is always difficult for me to come up with a good dessert receipe. Since Italian food is my favorite this is a great way to end any Italian dinner. Thanks! Dough 12/16/2006 at 09:38pm User: Andrea from katy, TX User Rating: It was a real favorite with my friends, but the only thing is that if you get premade pizza dough then bake it about 3 minutes less than the direction of the specific dough or else it will become too rubbery and hard. Chocolate Pizza Review 12/08/2006 at 09:33pm User: Bruce from North Hollywood, CA User Rating: I saw it on the show i thought it looked good and fun to make Giada De Laurentiis 12/06/2006 at 03:38pm User: jack from st james, MO User Rating: the best i ever had YOU GOTTA TRY THIS 11/20/2006 at 04:24pm User: THERESA from SCOTTSDALE, AZ User Rating: This is a chocolate lover's dream. Rich and Delicious! 10/09/2006 at 02:03pm User: Drema from Reynoldsburg, OH User Rating: I used a store bought already made pizza dough. I was very good and looks pretty, too! A little tweak for a great recipe 08/24/2006 at 11:33am User: ROBERT from Hurley, NY User Rating: Those experiencing dough problems with this recipe should try using a classic, 20 oz. dough rather than the 1 lb dough the recipe calls for, and rolling it out to a wider diameter than 9" (11-12" works for us - that's the diameter of our pizza machine. My local pizza shop sells such doughs for $1.50, which saves much time and effort. I make one of these almost every week, and we eat it for dessert, and sometimes even for breakfast with coffee. Everyone who's ever had a slice loves it! Crowd Pleaser 08/14/2006 at 07:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: A quick throw together that is full of flavor. Who doesn't like chocolate? the bomb 07/29/2006 at 06:21pm User: Savannah from Boise, ID User Rating: mmmmm i still smell and taste it my family has been begging for more!! Her manicure always looks perfect!!! Yummy chocolate pizza 06/08/2006 at 07:59pm User: PJ from lakeland, FL User Rating: We made this right after watching the show. We added marshmellows to one and fresh fruit to the other (after taking it out of the oven). Everyone loved it! I would make it again. yummmmmmmmmmmmmm 04/30/2006 at 09:11pm User: Selina from new bedford, MA User Rating: This was soooo good. I made it for my husband and brother and they devoured all of it. I used store bought dough from phillsbury instead of making my own dough. It was difficult to work with. i will try to make my own next time. Other than that it was farly easy and delicous. I will be making it for get togethers for sure!! cute and interesting 04/11/2006 at 02:00pm User: Becky from San Jose, CA User Rating: it was rellly fun to make with my grandddchildren we added some more items and it was delicious Really fun... 04/09/2006 at 01:35pm User: Donna from Los Gatos, CA User Rating: I made this at a friend's house for dessert one night, and it was quite a hit. The kids especially loved it. All of the adults agreed that it needs to be sliced into REALLY SMALL pieces because it's so rich. Heavenly 03/27/2006 at 01:22am User: LAUREN from Belleville, IL User Rating: I found a new love for pizza after trying this chocolatey delight. A slice of this will melt your troubles away. Very rich!!! 03/13/2006 at 12:13am User: Mitzi from Point Mugu NAWC, CA User Rating: Thought this was wonderful. I had trouble making the pizza dough, I may use a different recipe for that next time. Very, very chocolaty! I served it with vanilla bean ice cream which helps even out the richness of the chocolate. It was a hit with the entire family, especially the kids. Great Chocolate Flavor 02/27/2006 at 08:30am User: Anonymous User Rating: I loved the mix of chocolates in this. I used refrig pizza dough and almost overcooked it. The time for cooking the dough is off I think-Just 12-15 min will do it seems. The people I served it to didn't LOVE it. They thought the dough should be sweetened with something(other than the chocolate) like sugar. I probably won't make it again just b/c there is so much out there. It is very quick and easy though. excellant 02/26/2006 at 06:30pm User: Anonymous User Rating: this is the most easiest and yummy recipe i have done ever it even got me and my husband to end the night well so good job with this recipe Chocolate Pizza 02/26/2006 at 10:32am User: Antoinette from Franklin Square, NY User Rating: Thank you, Giada, for this great recipe. My sister-in-law, Rita, and I made this for our family and it was a big hit! My niece and nephew, Rosemarie and Mario, ate it until their bellies hurt. We had so much fun making this dessert. Great idea! Keep up the great work. chocolate pizza dough recipe 02/25/2006 at 01:23pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I think the chocolate pizza recipe was great except I had some trouble with the pizza dough recipe. It only called for 1/2 a cup of water, and this wasn't enough for the 2 cups of flour. After I added a little more water the dough was fine. But I had to throw out the first batch. sweet and simple 02/14/2006 at 10:30pm User: Michele from Staten Island, NY User Rating: really loved this recipe and so did everyone who tasted it. so simple to make and will be making it again. Choclate dream 01/22/2006 at 06:01pm User: Chanelle from Santa Ana, CA User Rating: The pizza was so moist and the nutella spread made the pizza sweet and delicious. I recommend this for people with a big sweet tooth. Thanks Giada for another great recipe. Your number one fan! Not only does it look pretty but it tastes amazing. It will certinaly be a favorite for this self proclaimed choco-holic! I also found that this is a very kid friendly recipe, my daughter loved brushing on the butter, sprinkling on the chocolate chips and nuts, she also loved eating it. I am already planning to make this for a goodie swap party. A Quick and Easy Standby Dessert! 10/20/2005 at 11:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Yummy! The crust was a bit thick - would probably roll it out to 10 inches diameter. Otherwise, a perfect delicious dessert. maybe it's my fault 09/12/2005 at 12:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this twice. The first time I followed the baking directions, my dough burnt. The second time, it did not burn, but was as easy to chew as the bottom of a shoe. I love Giada, but this was not for me.
