mmmmm goood 12/08/2006 at 09:01pm User: robert from hazel green, AL User Rating: the apple sauce bread and butter was very good and very easy to make Apple Butter is very sweet 12/07/2006 at 04:18pm User: JEANNE from Schenectady, NY User Rating: A very good compliment to a brunch without being overly sweet. Apple butter is very sweet like jam and it is added to cream cheese which is very rich. That is probably why the bread is made with less sweetener in it. Also note that when baking quick breads, be careful not to overcook them or they will turn out dry. Also make sure you oven is accurate temperatue (using an oven thermonenter). I usually take them out when: they are at least lightly browned on top, top bounces back, the bread is starting to pull away from the sides of the pan and a toothpick has a couple of crumbs still clinging to it. Cool on a rack, then take out of the pan after 5-10 min only and cool on rack or it will continue to cook in the pan and dry out. Good 11/12/2005 at 11:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The sauce by itself was so-so, but eating it with the Applesauce Bread, it was definitely a good combination. a ok 11/10/2005 at 06:46pm User: ALYSSA from waverly, OH User Rating: good with the apple bread Great spread 11/08/2005 at 06:43pm User: Chrissy from Prospect Park, PA User Rating: This spread goes perfect with Paula's applesauce bread or any bread or muffin. fast easy 10/29/2005 at 08:00pm User: deedo from fort plain, NY User Rating: i enjoy this becouse you can make it a head and it keeps well pluse it great for sunday brakfast Delish! 10/03/2005 at 01:38am User: ANGIE from Sapulpa, OK User Rating: Paula, I love your recipes.
