This show is called semi-homemade, not semi-easy-to-make. Even though these were semi easy. My family adored this. Thanks! Hint: if you are looking for only easy recipes, the recipes are rated from easy to difficult on the top. Hope this helps for next time!

I think she should stay inside the box more. I love her simpler desert recipes but sometimes the combinations of ingredients just don't work together. This is an example.

This was a little complicated to make, though not difficult. My end product was pretty, very hard to slice and keep shape, though everyone who tried it said it was good. However, I don't think I would repeat.

I made these along with the Mocha Phyllo Cups and had the same problem with both - looked good but the taste was awful. Thanks anyway but we're going to skip the rest of the semi homemade desserts.

It fell apart but tasted great!

User: Lisa from Clermont, FL    User Rating:
The taste was wonderful and I would consider making it again in a trife dish instead of trying a free standing cake. I let it sit overnight as instructed, and it still feel apart into a pile of delicious mush when I cut into it.

light and flavorful

absolutely loved this recipe. I've made this several times. Only trouble I have is when it's time to take my baked egg whites off parchment paper they sorta stick. It's easy and so good. My husband and I love this one.

Not a Dacquoise
01/02/2006 at 05:55pm
User: Christin from Columbus, OH    User Rating:
A dacquoise is a meringue with finely ground nuts folded in. What Sandra made was just a meringue. Also, it shatters to pieces when you try to cut it. How is one supposed to serve it neatly?
