Bland 12/08/2005 at 06:35pm User: Lora from Albuquerque, NM User Rating: This was bland, but had a good consistency. Easy to prepare. The kids didn't like them and the adults dunked them into other things that were around to give them flavor. no taste witches fingers 11/12/2005 at 09:50pm User: Carla from Richardson, TX User Rating: The witches fingers turned out pleasing to the eye but they were inedible. They tasted like plain flat dough. Needed some kind of flavor, possibly more cayenne, more cheese. Simple and Tasty 11/11/2005 at 03:57pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is one of the easiest recipes I have ever tried! They are super simple to make, taste even better and will be the hit of any halloween party! Witchy Good! 11/04/2007 at 06:35pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These turned out great! I don't think a single one was left on the plate at the end of the night. Try it! Inconsideration ruins recipes 10/31/2007 at 04:00pm User: Kacey from Pinson, AL User Rating: I made this for a Halloween party at work and it was a complete let-down! Don't let anyone fool you into thinking these fingers are tasty- they were completely bland and soggy by the time I got them to the party, which was only the morning after I made them. I followed all the directions, which was a lot of work to get the result I got. Definitely add some spices, more cheese, and more salt. very bland 10/31/2005 at 08:28pm User: JENNIFER from Hamilton, NJ User Rating: These looked really cool, but they lacked any flavor. I made so many, and not even 1/4 was eaten at the party. I would put in spicier ingredients, or even sprinkle cheese over the top while they were still in the oven. Plus, they really need a dip of some sort, maybe a cheese dip, to give it some flavor. It tasted like plain bread. not really worth it 10/30/2006 at 08:43am User: Anonymous User Rating: These smell and taste delicious right out of the oven. However, if you're making them in advance, they taste bland and boring the next day even when they've been air-sealed and/or reheated in the oven. The recipe is somewhat time-consuming for not a whole lot of payoff, especially when they taste only slightly better than a cheez-it. Witches Fingers 10/25/2005 at 12:03pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Made this with my grandchildren, and they loved it. Don't bother 10/18/2005 at 08:14am User: Anonymous User Rating: Somewhat time consuming for such a so so outcome. They needed baked for a much longer time to become crispy. Not a big hit at my block party. Hideous, Rotten, Tastes like a bunch of raw eggs 10/12/2005 at 10:58pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I'm sorry but these are the worst tasting things I have ever eaten! They literally taste like raw eggs. No other flavor comes across. They are great shaped but I was incredibly disappointed with this. They did not turn out crunchy and they left a rotten taste in my mouth. I doubled the recipe because I wanted to take them to work for a fun goodie idea but had to throw the whole batch away. What a waste of ingredients! ok 08/01/2006 at 09:54pm User: kim from topeka, KS User Rating: They were good cheesy straws 02/21/2007 at 09:05pm User: Anonymous User Rating: these are good A Hit for a Halloween Party 02/04/2007 at 03:16pm User: kathy from The Villages, FL User Rating: This recipe was a real hit at a poolside Halloween party.....fun to make & tasty too! |
