Simple and Yummy

These cupckes were very simple to make since you use boxed cake mix. It is wonderful to have short-cuts, now being a mother of a 7 month old. I baked these for my office and in-laws for Halloween, and everyone loved them. They all thought EVERYTHING was homemade, including the frosting. The added orange flavor and color really adds to the effect!

I thought the decorations were great and very festive but the taste of the cupcakes was just okay for me. I made these for my work and I think they would be better suited for a children's function rather than for adults.

Love the icing tip

Pretty good cupcake recipe - EASY

The cupcakes turned out great, but they're more for the cuteness factor than the taste. They tasted pretty basic, but for Halloween they were perfect.http://images.foodnetwork.com/webfood/images/myrecipebox/submit.gif http://images.foodnetwork.com/webfood/images/myrecipebox/submit.gif I would avoid using the orange extract again in the frosting because I'm not a big fan of orange-flavored things, but overall, these were a hit with my coworkers. Next time, I'm just going to use the food coloring and vanilla frosting!

These cupcakes were a lot of fun to make, my step daughter was having a picnic around holloween and she wanted to make cupcakes so we made a ton, we had a lot of fun making them and she loved putting the worms on (she's four) but everyone's response was that they were "interesting" maybe I did something wrong, everyone usually loves my cupcakes.. they look really neat. taste not so great. Even the kid didn't want more than half of one.

Yummy!

Made these today. I think that the cola made them extra light. To make them more "orangey", I added some orange zest to the frosting. Instead of just worms on top, I used a variety of halloween sprinkles. I know that the adults will enjoy them, too! I'll make these again.

Fun and Easy

Tastes like boxed cupcake mix and canned icing. Okay if you like that artificial flavor but I wouldn't feed these to anyone I liked. Okay for the kid's Halloween party at school I guess.

Mmm...Very Tasty!

We are tight on money so I just found a recipe on allrecipes.com for cake and made my own frosting and crushed cookies myself. It tasted realy good but I have to give Sandra two thumbs up about the decorating! Everyone loved it!

Truefully I thought the taste would be better. Maybe using a different cake mix would help BUT they look great and I got a lot of compliments! Use the piping from a ziploc bag trick and they will look very professional!

Wow, I thought these message boards were supposed to be helpful. Let's leave the immaturity to high schoolers, ok? I tried these with my nephews and we had a blast. They loved them along with their parents!

My girls and I saw Sandra's show and thought the cupcakes would be a lot of fun for their Halloween party. Of course we had to make a batch first and try them out to make sure. Yep, they're awesome! I couldn't find any cookie crumbs, so we used chocolate wafers and crushed them ourselves.

These were the perfect party cupcake! They were beautiful, and an absolute show stopper. I displayed them on a tray with a "spooky wooden tree decoration" in the center. Not only were they gorgeous, they were tasty too. Parents and kids all loved them. Super easy recipe, a must have for every family. I am adjusting the recipe for an Easter party! Thanks

Soo much fun!
