This drink is incredibly refreshing! It was easy to make and went great with the salad, pork chops and potatoes. I couldn't find lemon sherbert so we used pineapple. My only suggestion is that the recipe be doubled and served in a larger glass! Delicious -

After reading the other reviews, I first tried the drink without the mint, and as one reviewer commented, it had a strong alcohol taste, maybe even bitter. But, I read from another review that chopping the mint wasn't such a good idea either. Instead, I crushed it at the bottom of the cup with the handle of a wooden spoon (as you would do for a mojito). That made the difference. It changed the drink completely, and I would recommend to others who make it to crush the mint at the bottom rather than chop it or eliminate it. The mint is the perfect compliment to the other ingredients. Beware -- it's strong! I might use a little less vodka next time. (I "eyeballed" it instead of measuring and that might have done me in.)

I made these for a Book Club meeting--they were a huge hit! The mint has to be chopped very small, otherwise it's a little hard to take. I've made it since and the quality sorbet you use definitely makes a difference. But these are great!
Great for party guests!

I fixed this along with other recipes by Giada for my son's girlfriend's birthday party and everyone loved it. It was a great hit. Very delicious! I will definitely serve this again.

We live in Bullhead Arizona where 125 degree days are common. This is so refreshing but we drink most of it indoors because the sorbet will melt too quickly outdoors....such problems!!

This drink was too bitter and sour for me. I expected it to be sweeter. Maybe if I used a different flavor sorbet? I used Hagen Das Lemon Sorbet.

This drink is so great. I increased the vodka to give it a bit more kick. We couldn't find lemon sorbet so we used raspberry and it turned out fine. Little hint: Don't chop up the mint because then you get little bits of mint in your mouth and it doesn't taste good:)

I was helped in picking out a sweeter prosecco at the liquor store, and mized it with a high-end vodka, the sorbet and the mint. It was drinkable, but, I wouldn't go out of my way to make this again. Was just too dry.

I am 13 and decided to make my parents a valentine's dinner. This drink was simple but very yummy ( well i didn't taste it) but my parents were raving about it. I definetly recommend this!

I made this once with vodka and then again with limoncello. The limoncello was just the difference I was looking for. For the next time I serve these I puechased some lemondrop martini sugar to rim the glasses. I can't wait for warm Sunday brunches on the deck.

I found this to be quite delightful and a perfect complement to a great meal. It eliminates the need for dessert. I tried it once with lemon sorbet and tonight I'm going to try it with Mango sorbet!
