not for me 11/20/2006 at 10:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I guess this is for americans who are use to the taste. Great Recipe 11/14/2006 at 07:56am User: William from Jacksonville, FL User Rating: Used Spinach instead of Kale and it worked out great. Outstanding! 08/15/2007 at 07:09pm User: Jason from Eglin, FL User Rating: For those who don't know, kale is used in the official famous New Orleans Antoine's Oysters Rockefeller recipe that has never been disclosed, not spinach. That said, I've made countless recipes for creamed spinach, but never for kale. I would have never thought of using caramelized whole shallots. To the non-American reviewer, this recipe has French origins. Don't give low ratings because you aren't "used" to a flavor. soupy 08/10/2007 at 06:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I think maybe there's too much water in the kale to hold up to a thickened milk sauce, because my recipe turned out soupy even though I drained the kale well. I think cream, or even a blended cottage cheese, might work better. Excellent 06/04/2006 at 06:12pm User: LORY from Burlingame, CA User Rating: I learned more about kale when I had our baby boy, it's a super food and my family loved this recipe! Thanks Bobby! Lory |
