I was not a fan of these....found them very dry! Maybe it was the brand of pastry I used (peppridge farm) I just found that they had to be dipped in something.....

They all disappeared!

I tried this recipe with the Athena brand crumbled feta with sundried tomatoes and basil. They were fantastic, and had none left! I grated the nutmeg myself, and what a delicious touch!

I made this recipe for the Xmas holiday and everyone loved them. They couldn't believe how good they were. Even my Dad ate one and he doesn't eat feta cheese. I had extra pastry dough and put leftover white chicken meat and shredded yellow cheddar inside the dough and everyone loved those too.

Easy, tasty recipe! Rememer to take the pastry out of the freezer 40 minutes prior to use (the microvave will not defrost it evenly).

My partner and I used this recipe for a huge Christmas party (175 people). Everyone absolutely loved the pastry. We used a large biscuit cutter and made round pastries which we folded over. The final product came out great.

Great-I used filo dough cups instead

The recipe was wonderful, but instead of using puffed pastry, I used pre-made filo dough cups, and put about a teaspoon and a half in each one. I then baked them at 350 for 9 minutes, and my husband devoured almost all of them!

This is a keeper

I'd never worked with puff pastry before and this recipe was a good start. I added toasted pine nuts to the mixture for crunch and a little olive oil for flavor. Increase the size of the squares and with a salad, it would make a nice light meal.

Pastry bites are a hit.

These spinach puffs were tasty, flaky and delicious. They taste even better right out of the oven. It is a bit of work, though, and make sure you have a good work space for the dough.

An easier way to seal these...

This is always a hit everytime I make them but I changed up the recipe a bit. Cut the pastry is strips lenghtwise. I get 3 per sheet (so around 2 1/2 inches). Lighty butter each strip w/ a parsty brush. Then fold them in a triangle (like you would a flag)... then it stickes together easliy! It also makes it really flakey and not dry at all!

Really nice!

Very easy appetizer that both meat eaters and vegetarians enjoyed. Make the filling the night before to save some time the day of your event. Doubles well for a crowd too. I also tried the filling with phyllo dough making little pouches. Good as well but more work, I prefer the puff pastry.

Easy and yummy

These take a little time to make but they are simple. Sometimes feta can be overpowering but the flavors and the baking create a delightful blend. I made them ahead of time for a potluck and baked them when I got there! Excellent!

These pasrty bites are awesome! Everyone I make them for LOVES them... they are easy to make (although I can't seem to get the shape right, so I use a mini muffin tin to keep them looking pretty)...

Very yummy! I found the feta and spinach mixture to be a bit dry so I added and egg white to bind it together better. Make sure when you cut your squares out that they are in fact squares or you will have a hard time making the edges match up.

Really good and lots of compliments! Based on some comments that the original recipe was dry, I added some EVOO and also chopped some green onion into the mixture. They were a hit!

I would say mediocre. They were very tasty, but thinking about it I only like the pastry and the spinach just tasted like plain spinach to me, it tasted very amateur. I would suggest looking up a recipe on here for spanikopeta (sp?) instead. It only has a few more ingredients. If you're really cooking on a budget just save money by buying pre-maid frozen puffs.

I must say that I didn't expect for this to be as easy as it appeared to be on on Dave's show but it was...talk about making yourself look good...people asked me all night how much time it took and why did I go to so much trouble...The filling is delish and easy to change a few things here and there to make it a whole new recipe. Enjoy....

I found this recipe really easy to make but I just didn't think it was that great. There was really no flavor and it was pretty dry. My friend liked it more than I did but I won't be doing this one again.

Served on two occasions to guests, the recipe is quite easy to prepare and gets rave reviews from guests. My mistake the first time was not thawing the pastry in time. Overall, very easy and very tasty.
