This is now our standard method for preparing flank steak. We use spinach instead of mustard greens, a bigger bread loaf and enjoy as a main course.

this was delicious, however, I had never tried mustard greens before. This recipe should use either baby mustard greens, spinach, or regular mustard greens with the stems cut out. The stems are extremely bitter. Everything was very tasty other than that!

The mustard greens were spicy enough to NOT warrant the vinegar. Be careful with the spices and olive oil; it came out a bit too oregano-y and oily. The flank steak came out perfect. The bruschetta should be grilled a bit first (like the tv show suggests) before brushing with olive oil and spices, then you should finish grilling.

I love this dish. I have tried it with all the greens and spinach is my best. I think it is a great entree to my food feast when I invite my friends over for a lazy day of gorging on good eats. The meat is always perfectly tasty, seasoned and just yummy. The grilled bread is yummy too.
