I even plan to get my own goats someday and make chevre. I was interested in trying this recipe because I thought it might be a good use of my future goat's milk. I found the truffles to be creamy (even when cold), rich, tangy and very chocolatey. You can taste the goat cheese, especially after the first hit of chocolate subsides. I had friends and co-workers try them and everyone liked them, even those who don't like chevre. Totally delicous 02/12/2007 at 01:27pm User: Erin from Toms River, NJ User Rating: Very very easy to make, and reminds me of deep chocolate cheesecake with a bite from the tangy goat cheese. Highly recommend if you can manage the expectations to NOT be completely sweet like a normal truffle. |
