Worth the effort! 11/23/2007 at 04:59am User: Barb from Bryan, OH User Rating: After reading the other reviews, I had to try this recipe. I took them to our Thanksgiving get-together and I left with an empty platter. They were a hit. I used mini muffin cups, and after they were set, I removed the wrapper and turned them upside down on a plate and drizzled melted dark chocolate over the white chocolate cups and let that set up before filling the cups. I think it made them look a little more special. Truly elegant 09/29/2006 at 08:30pm User: Brooke from Shorewood`, WI User Rating: The presentation of this lovely dessert is only surpassed by its exquisite taste. Well worth the effort for a special occassion! Giada is the best! Fantastic 09/28/2007 at 10:09am User: Deb from Williston, VT User Rating: I mixed 1oz of Raspberry Liquor in with the chocolate as it was cooling and the result was fabulous. I bet hazelnut, almond, coffee or orange liquor would be really good as well. To save time, I skipped making the chocolate cups and just put the mousse-like creation in bowls. Fast & delicious! Great crowd pleaser 09/26/2006 at 09:36am User: Anonymous User Rating: This was a huge success at a dinner party. It tastes and looks fantastic. The hardest part is trying to evenly coat the paper cups with chocolate, but is well worth the work. Michele, Riverview,FL 09/24/2006 at 09:12am User: MICHELE from Riverview, FL User Rating: I thought this was very easy. I did have a couple changes. I only used 7 oz of the white chocolate since that was the size of the package that I had. It worked fine, I was still able to get 8 muffine liners out of that. I did not have an orange so I left out the zest. I also did not have a problem with the cups breaking. I think you really need to do even layers of the choc. and work quickly to get them out of the liners! Yummy! amazing! 08/13/2007 at 12:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I've made this quite a few times, however, I've made the white chocolate cups smaller.....it's such a great dessert to bring to a potluck! Another HUGE HIT from Giada!!!!! 08/10/2006 at 11:02pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This dessert was amazing. I used equal parts semi and bittersweet chocolate and it was perfect. I also suggest using the mini cups. Easier to handle and eats in two bites with less mess. Also, I suggest only letting them sit out 30 minutes....max. Much longer, especially in summer months, white chocolate cup can get too soft. Otherwise, delicious!!!! Delicious 08/03/2006 at 12:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: i absolutely love this recipe. it's original and delicious way up 07/30/2006 at 06:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: even better Elegant, Chocolate Perfection! 07/27/2006 at 03:35pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Yes, these are a little labor-intensive, so carve out some time. But, they are wonderful. If you have trouble peeling the liner...be patient. Just let them sit out for a few minutes, then start peeling. They're sturdier than you think, as long as you coated the liners generously with the white chocolate. For a first-timer on this recipe, they came out just as I'd seen them on TV. This is a restaurant quality dessert! Smooth chocolate taste is fabulous! 06/18/2006 at 06:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The mousse part of this is so delicious. The mascarpone adds great flavor. Great for any dinner party or just because. Really tastey, but kinda difficult 05/22/2006 at 02:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Yeah, This dessert was delicious but a little difficult to prepare. The two difficult parts. Painting the cups with the white chocolate, They kept melting when i touched them. And also, the cheese chocolate mixture, didnt come out one smooth color, it was a little marbled. didnt come out as pretty as on tv. But very delicious. delicious 05/21/2006 at 05:12pm User: Tia from Kent, OH User Rating: It was easy and delicious! Jamie 05/19/2006 at 09:09am User: Anonymous User Rating: good chocolate lover's 05/09/2006 at 03:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: i love chocolate and even though it was a little complicated, it was well worth it. It was so good and cremey!! mouthwatering 05/08/2006 at 04:47pm User: florence from overland park, KS User Rating: absolutely wonderful awsome!!!!! It was fabulouse 04/21/2008 at 04:49pm User: Anonymous User Rating: awwwwwwwwwwwsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING 04/17/2006 at 02:37am User: Tracy from Scottsdale, AZ User Rating: This was WONDERFUL.... I added some coffee liquer to the melted dark chocolate to give it a little "extra"... my husband said it was THE BEST i have ever made!!! Thank you Giada Chocolate Elegance 04/08/2008 at 08:54pm User: Diana from Towson, MD User Rating: I've made this many times now and I have got to say... THIS IS A CHOCOLATE LOVERS DREAM. I always have an empty plate when I make this. And I swear - my head swells because I get nothing but compliments from everyone who sticks this treat into their mouth. If making for a dessert for a dinner party - I think making regular size cups is best. And if taking to a party - mini is the way to go. It's a must to coat the paper lining as evenly as possible to ensure you can peel it off without cracking the chocolate cup. A tip - there is usually a pocket of air on the bottom - use the tip of a corn on the cob holder to tear it and start from there! Quick & Easy 04/05/2006 at 10:11pm User: Suganya from phoenix, AZ User Rating: The chocolate cups can be made the previous day. Its like 50% of yr dessert is already done. U can keep yr mind off it and do other dishes. It is better to leave the chocolate cups 15 mins in room temp before serving them. Tht way u can cut them else u have to bite them like crackers. Very Impressive! 03/29/2006 at 07:15pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made these for my daughter's birthday party. They were a great hit. Loved the mascapone flavor. I'm going to make them again in mini cups for an engagement party. Easier than making truffles. I'm thinking of making dark chocolate cups with white chocolate cream as well as the white chocolate cups with the dark chocolate cream. Will report in with results. Shell 03/25/2006 at 06:42pm User: Michelle from York, PA User Rating: Help!! I can't get the paper cup off the chocolate without getting melted chocolate all over my hands. I'm using a small cup instead of the cup cake cup. That shouldn't make a difference, I think. Once the chocolate starts to melt the cup falls apart. This looks like a wonderful treat and I would love to try it! very, very yummy! 03/13/2007 at 05:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: it is so pretty and elegant, that it doesn't make sense not to try and make them! Excellent as mini cups 03/11/2007 at 06:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My sister-in-law made these for us for dessert and they were fantastic! She made them in normal sized muffin tins but it was too much for the ladies as they are very rich(we actually saved the other half for the next day) so I would make them in mini muffin tins. :) 03/01/2006 at 04:10pm User: Kim from Anaheim, CA User Rating: My entire family loved this dessert, it has a wonderful chocolate flavor, not to rich, just right. Wonderful 02/27/2006 at 09:30pm User: Mary from Mount Joy, PA User Rating: I made these for a Tea and I made a chocolate covered strawberry and placed on top. They were great. very rich! 02/21/2006 at 03:34am User: Leng from oakland, CA User Rating: I didn't expect this dessert to be so sweet and rich. I guess the sweetness came from the white chocolate cups. I really enjoyed making it though. WOW! 02/17/2008 at 09:39pm User: Bridget from Dublin, CA User Rating: These were amazing! I made them for company last night. They were pretty and impressive looking and the flavors were to die for. Everyone raved! The mousse was creamy but light enough to not overwhelm. I loved the orange flavor in the chocolate. Yum. Yum. Yum. This is a keeper! Delicioso!!!! 02/17/2008 at 07:58pm User: MS. R. B. from Goshen, NY User Rating: Delicious!!!! Although these were time consuming, they were 'doable'. I could not believe how professional they turned out. My friends and family were amazed and they loved them. My mother-in-law thought I purchased the white chocolate cups! I will definitely make them again. Thanks Giada!!!! Regards, Aunt Ruth yummy! 02/14/2007 at 11:44pm User: Anonymous User Rating: very good, but i had too much of the mousse left over! but i guess that's not so bad=) everyone loves it 02/13/2006 at 02:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: it's very easy, fun to make, and tastes so good!! everyone loves it. i put fresh rasberries when i serve these. Elegant and beautiful 02/13/2006 at 01:41pm User: Sherry from Alpharetta, GA User Rating: This was easy to make and it looks beautiful. I put a fresh blackberry on top of each and I had a little left over chocolate cream so I made two parfaits and alternated the cream with the berries. Can't wait to dig in! I will make these again and again for company great 02/12/2006 at 01:00pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These were great. So easy to make.My whole family just loved them.
