Elegant and easy

Our gourmet group thoroughly enjoyed this appetizer. I would make it again in a hearbeat. My only caution: it makes a lot! I only used about eight ounces of quince paste, and a corresponding amount of Manchego, and that made a plate of skewers sufficient for 8-10 people (assuming this is not the only appetizer served). I also cut the cubes smaller -- and inch of each would be quite a mouthfull!

Very easy to make. I found the manchego and quince paste on igourmet.com. Great combination of flavors.

Outstanding taste & presentation on this appetizer. Exotic and yummy. To the gourmet food group person - what about using the leftover Quince paste as a base for a vinaigrette for either a savoury or fruit salad? That's what I plan to do. Give it a try. Beat you to the salad bowl !!
