I love brownies, I'll be honest. I'm probably being biast in this rating. xD; Anyways, my mom didn't let me make them microwave'd (D: I know, maybe I shouldn't be submitting a review). Anyways, they came out excellently, I had to change a few things... y'know, with baking and all, but they still came out great. Next time I make them, I'll make them in the microwave (when my mom isn't home). :3

First, the brownies taste good; texture is different than conventional baking. Second, the cook time for different microwave watts is needed for the recipe. My brownies were not done in 5 minutes. :-( But otherwise, it makes a quick dessert for the family!

amazing!

Satisfies a brownie craving when it's too hot to bake

These are pretty good. The texture is a little odd, especially when they're fresh. They're like...spongy. They get chewier the next day, which is how I like my brownies. George doesn't include nuts in the recipe; I think it needs them.

Took a little longer to cook, but most things do in our microwave, so no big deal. Very good taste. They were all gone that evening. Will definitely make them again.

These brownies are very good. I have made them twice, once for my family, and once for dinner with friends. I like this recipe because kids can easily make it becase nothing gets very hot. Overall this recipe is delicious, but do not put too much salt in or it could come out salty.

DEFINATELY no salt needed. This was probably the saltiest brownie I've ever had! I was worried that they wouldn't cook evenly since we don't have a turntable, but they turned out fine. I prefer them a little less fluffy, so I'll probably use less baking powder next time. I'm definately taking this recipe with me in the fall when I get back to school!

Of course I was skeptical of anything called "Microwave Brownies," but George Duran is just a convincing guy. I just made them and they're incredibly easy and fast. No problems at all, but mine needed more than the suggested 3 minutes to cool down. For brownies using baking powder, they're not too cakey. They're a pretty good balance between cakey and fudgy. My wife says they're the most delicious brownie she's ever tasted!

I followed this recipe except for the chocolate chunks (didn't have any at home). I had to microwave the brownies an extra 2.5 minutes as it was still very wet. Microwave wattage is important. Other than that, this recipe is rich tasting and delicious. Perfect study treat.

I'm surprised the brownies turned out so well. My suggestions: if using margarine nix the salt; 1100 watt microwaves-might want to check around 4 minutes, mine were overdone at 5. Other than that, I may never preheat my oven for brownies again!

Decent Brownies

This is actually a pretty good recipe and the brownies will keep nicely for a day or two if they last that long. I tried to use a 100% Vegetable Oil margarine instead of the butter. It turned out ok but took 10 minutes to cook. Using butter they were done after 7.5 minutes. Also the cooling time is much more than 3 minutes

Very good for microwave brownies!

I made these with Cocoa powder and added the oil needed to equal 3 ozs of unsweetened chocolate. I don't think I will add any additional oil next time. I, too, would like to know the wattage of the test microwave as I had to microwave my brownies for seven minutes for them to bake through. They are SUPER delicious, though! Very good texture. As they cooled they became even more chewy. Best microwave recipe I've tried. I would recommend these. Super easy, too.
