A new favortite ! 12/10/2006 at 07:36pm User: rita from chicago, IL User Rating: Prepared marinade according to recipe but like last reviewer, seared pork on all sides on stovetop in nonstick oven-proof skillet, then finished in 375 oven for 20-25 minutes. Turn pork halfway or the sugar will cause it to burn on one side. Results= tender and delicious...-a perfect combination of flavors. Boiled and reduced the marinade for a great little sauce and served with shredded napa cabbage saute'd with garlic and ginger. A fast, easy and tasty dinner. EXCELLENT!!! 11/26/2007 at 10:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Very tasty, the recipe took me a little longer than stated, but well worth the wait!!!! Pretty darn good 10/04/2006 at 05:29pm User: Suzanne from Redondo Beach, CA User Rating: The marinade was quite simple to make, and I had all the ingredients (unlike many Asian marinades). I only marinated the pork for about 2 hours and maybe if I had let it go longer, I would have had more flavor. I also seared the tenderloin on top of the stove and baked at 400 for about 20 mins after that. Overall, it was very tasty and tender, but could have had more teriyaki taste. Great marinade 09/25/2007 at 04:46pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was absolutely wonderful! The marinade was delicious and the sugar helped the porkloin brown beautifully. I will definitely make this again. Wonderful! Wonderful!! Wonderful!!! 08/29/2007 at 11:17am User: Jacqueline from Rehoboth, MA User Rating: The marinade gave the pork such a wonderful flavor! Yummy! 05/25/2006 at 02:44pm User: Jenni from Lake in the Hills, IL User Rating: Easy and tasty. I cooked jasmine rice in chicken broth along with the leftover marinate. What a treat! For fabulous leftovers, cut the meat into tiny pieces and add to the rice along with some crisp peas...just like take out! Great weeknight dinner 05/11/2006 at 02:31pm User: LISA from Vista, CA User Rating: I made this recipe just as stated, marinated it for about an hour and a half. Went great with some brown rice and a baby greens salad with oranges, avocado, red onions topped with toasted sesame seeds and Sesame Soy Ginger Vinaigrette dressing from Trader Joe's. So EASY. Impressive 05/06/2007 at 01:27am User: Wendy from Boise, ID User Rating: Easy and delicious, both kids and husband loved it. This is on the repeat list and I will enjoy showing it off to future dinner guests as well. Great 04/08/2007 at 11:14am User: Carole from Edina, MN User Rating: Family love this. My Word! 03/22/2008 at 12:12pm User: Xan from Nashville, TN User Rating: The house filled with the most delicous smell as the tenderloin cooked. It was hard not to hoard it all to myself. Even my in-laws loved it and they hate EVERYTHING. It's a shame it's so expensive because I want this at least once a week. Delicious..Easy..Home Supper or Company Coming Good 03/07/2008 at 11:32am User: jeanne from deltona, FL User Rating: There is only one negative to this recipie for me & that is that it takes longer to broil than the 15 mins stated. If I wanted to broil rather than bake the next time I would slice down the middle after marinating to flatten it. Substitutions: I don't keep sherry in the house but was told that it tends to taste like a flavored vinegar so I used balsmic (spelling) vinegar & red wine vinegar for the rice vinegar & 'powdered ginger' for the root. The results were fabulous. Who says low-cal, healthy food has to taste like dried out cardboard?? Served it with easy brown rice & a marvelous sald that had greens that came with a soy ginger vinegrette plus naval orange pieces, Florida avacado cut into small pieces, sliced red onion. Wonderfully easy!!!! 01/09/2007 at 08:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These were so quick and easy to make. In addition, I made a quick pan gravy with the juices and leftover marinade and added a little bit of madeira wine which works well with the teriyaki marinade. Very easy and great for company.... Easy and Delicious 01/05/2007 at 10:12am User: Anonymous User Rating: I use this marinade all the time....I have used it on chicken and shrimp as well |
