I did these on a griddle, as I was out of gas for the grill, and they were very greasy, but that may be because I cooked them on the griddle and the pesto make a ton of grease while they were cooking. I will try it again, but next time on the grill.

I made this for dinner guests,and they all loved it, especially the presentation. The steak was very tender, but next time I will use my own milder parsley pesto, as I thought the store-bought basil pesto was too intense and its flavor overpowered the meat. I will also use my metal skewers, as the wooden ones burnt to a crisp, even with soaking for 2 hours.
