Between the prosciutto and biscuit mix, this was way too salty.

I was so excited to see this on TV I made it for the fundraiser for cancer at the regional hospital. Everyone thought Emeril had made it since he was speaking that day.

Not what I expected

User: Huggzy2007 from Anyhtown, NE    User Rating:
This sounded like a good idea but the biscuits were too tender to really support the prosciutto and parm. When I tried them, I thought they would be much better on a toasted baguette.

Too dry

Too dry and not enough flavor.

I changed the ingredients

User: LaVerne from Ft. Worth, TX    User Rating:
after reading reviews and they turned out pretty good. Made a much wetter dough and added the cheese to the dough before cooking. With all the stirring...they didn't rise as much as they should have. Very tasty now.

Dry and Salty

User: Molesman from New York, NY    User Rating:
These biscuits were hard as a rock! Plus they were very salty and had no cheese flavor. This is a recipe for the circular file.

Fantastic

These are the best biscuits I have ever eaten. I used parmigiano reggiano cheese, which is so good itself. I can hardly wait to serve these to guests.

User: Sunni from Evergreen, OR    User Rating:
It was not a very light and fluffy biscuit.I don't like for my breads to be dry and crunchy.

one to five

User: Rosanne from Franklin Lakes, NJ    User Rating:
I would like to know how a review goes from 1 to 5 as a rating? With nothing in-between.It seems like something is wrong. So as a result I will not try this recipe. Yet, I like Sandra Lee. I have tried her baking recipes and they were fine.

Dry and boring

User: Kimber from Kent, WA    User Rating:
Salty and tough, too. I won't try them again, but if i did, I'd cut way back on the ham and add the cheese inot the dough. Then maybe they'd have some taste.

Terrific!

These were a bit dry. I wanted to like them but I just couldn't. Not even with the marmalade.

My family loved these!

We all love prosciutto and parmesan though, so I had a feeling it'd be a slam dunk. Great idea!

I never did get this to turn out right

FAILURE

User: Anonymous    User Rating:
If you follow the recipe you end up with some boring, flavorless biscuits. Consider adding a lot more cheese if you want them to taste like anything. If you make them like she did on tv -- into s sandwich with ornage mamalade, be prepared to throw them away.

Italian Twist

User: Laine from Smithtown, NY    User Rating:
very tasty - a nice Italian twist on the biscuit

serve as suggested
04/15/2006 at 10:23pm
User: deb from roanoke, VA    User Rating:
The suggested way to serve was with the orange marmalade and a slice of the proscuitto, it works that way. Prsciutto is a salty meat.

Too salty!!!

I rolled out the dough too thin. Next time I won't. The taste was great. Good biscuit
