Good for everyone 12/29/2006 at 12:18am User: Tracey from everett, WA User Rating: We served this at our family weekend on our breakfast morning and everyone loved it! It was easy to serve since it was "pizza" and fun to make. Great for a different way to serve eggs and sausage 12/28/2006 at 01:46pm User: Marti from Bowling Green, KY User Rating: Quite good! I made mine 12" instead of 8" and used an extra egg for each pie. It was sooooo good. differantly delishous 12/23/2006 at 11:49am User: teri from perris, CA User Rating: what a differnt breakfast easy enough to prepair during week. kids & dad loved it! About The Eggs 11/06/2006 at 11:15am User: C from Harleysville, PA User Rating: I beat the eggs in a bowl like I was making an omelet. I ladle the eggs on the crust like one would tomatoe sauce on a traditional pizza. I added green peppers and onions as well. You can cook it partially, then add susage, Bacon, Ham etc on (pre cooked of course) and the cheese and finish the pie that way. I've never had a problem with the eggs. The only catch with this is, you need a crust with a nice high outer lip to keep the egg mixture from running over. I've made it way for over 10 years and never had any problems. My Version 10/03/2006 at 05:43pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Left over Sicilian pizza heated in the oven and then topped with light fluffy scrambled eggs with fresh taragon on top....yum....try it.... Way too much fat!!!, and for kids??? 10/02/2007 at 09:36am User: Anonymous User Rating: I couldn't believe all that butter was just to cook 4 scrambled eggs, and it was funny how she pointed out that the eggs were organic. Then she added 4 sausage patties, and a whole bag of cheese. This is an artery clogger. Food Network should post the nutritional information next to their recipes. Pretty bad 09/02/2006 at 09:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Like others have said, the eggs were rubbery and overcooked. There must be some special trick to cooking this properly. pizza 08/28/2006 at 09:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was my first time making a breakfast pizza, but let me say "Awesome". Fantastic! 08/05/2006 at 12:00pm User: LINDA from KANSAS CITY, MO User Rating: I substituted bacon for the sausage and used a Boboli thin crust. Served some shredded lettuce moistened with mayo as a garnish, like CPK does with their BLT pizzas. My whole family loved it. We'll be making it again. + Extras! 07/22/2007 at 10:41am User: Anonymous User Rating: I tried this today, but made a few slight changes.. Sounded like a great idea 06/24/2006 at 07:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: But like others have said, it's impossible to not overcook the eggs this way. My kids didn't care since they only like the sausage and cheese anyway, but it's terribly unhealthful that way. the best pizza ever if you like breakfast 06/18/2006 at 12:11pm User: Anonymous User Rating: pizza! cool idea! 06/15/2006 at 09:46pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Everyone at the brunch I threw liked this! simple prep 06/13/2006 at 11:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: wonderful presentation and taste. WONDERFUL BREAKFAST 04/08/2007 at 11:39am User: Lorie from Eldersburg, MD User Rating: We all loved this recicpe (my children are 5 & 6). My 6 year old had 2 pieces. Wonderful!! 03/29/2007 at 10:17am User: Anonymous User Rating: My family loved this pizza. Plus, it was fast and easy to make! Worth making again 03/27/2007 at 01:24am User: Sage from Inglewood, CA User Rating: I made this pizza for breakfast for my daughter and her beau. We all enjoyed it. The variations are endless. I'm sure you could use turkey or beef sausage. I used cheddar cheese and baked mine in the oven (as was demonstrated on the show). It was so fast and so easy a caveman could do it. However, the grill would give it a smokey flavor and that's not bad either -- smiling. I will be making this again. Thanks, Sandra! Very good 03/13/2007 at 01:39am User: Anonymous User Rating: This is an excellent breakfast or brunch entree! Very tasty! Easy & a crowd pleaser 02/03/2008 at 11:52am User: Stori from Fort Bragg, NC User Rating: This is such a versatile dish. I prefer to grill the pizzas...it lends a nice "wood-oven" feel to the crust. As far as the eggs are concerned, if you omit the butter, make sure you undercook the eggs before transferring them to the pizza or they will turn out "rubbery". We usually throw in a little Tex-Mex flare by throwing out the italian seasoning opting for cajun seasoning as well as jalapenos and onions. We also substitute the sausage for Canadian bacon and bacon. The only limitation is your creativity.... terrible recipe 01/01/2007 at 12:00am User: Ashlee from Brentwood, CA User Rating: very greasy |
