Too Much Liquor 05/15/2006 at 05:21pm User: Loretta from Lubbock, TX User Rating: Tasted more like a mixed drink than a breakfast item. Simply Awful 05/15/2006 at 04:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This french toast was sickeningly sweet and overowering with the alcohol. Certainly not appropriate for children. Overall, very unpleasant. Yummy! 05/15/2006 at 02:25pm User: Katy from West Springfield, MA User Rating: We will never eat regular french toast again! This was a hit at out Mother's Day Brunch! Yum! 05/11/2008 at 11:04am User: Anonymous User Rating: I had a lot of luck with this recipe - super easy and a real crowd pleaser! Have also tried it with Disaronno instead of Grand Marnier and it is great! Soooooooo Good 04/27/2007 at 04:50pm User: Jaime from spring valley, NY User Rating: All I can say is Wow! I totally loved this recipe. By far the most decadent breakfast I've had in awhile. I used half of the amount of grand marnier for both the strawberries and the french toast as per the other reviews. I also cooked it in a regular frying pan coated with non-stick Pam. For the strawberries I couldn't find frozen, so I used a pint of fresh ones instead. The strawberries were so good my boyfriend and I finished them. The french toast extras we froze for another time. I highly recommend making this recipe and will add it to my collection. FANTASTIC! 04/15/2007 at 11:42am User: Anonymous User Rating: But make sure to only use Grand Marnier. I've tried other alcohol flavors and they didn't come out as tasty. Excellent French Toast 03/13/2007 at 01:42am User: Anonymous User Rating: Thi French Toast is sooo good - an excellent company breakfast. I used real whipped cream (rather than frozen whipped topping). Just delicious and looks very hard to prepare, but is really very easy and quick. I didn't grill it 01/15/2007 at 03:56pm User: Trina from Humble, TX User Rating: This is the best French Toast recipe I've ever used. I didn't put the full amounts of Grand Marnier in the batter (it was a little too strong for me) and I didn't grill it, but it still came out better than most of what I've had before. |
