Corn becomes a star 06/23/2008 at 08:07am User: Jay from Englewood, NJ User Rating: This recipe makes corn a star. The cilantro lime butter combined with the roasted corn is the best tasting side dish / vegetable I have ever tasted. This easy recipe just works and it is simple. Try it and I guarantee you will never have corn on the cob any other way ever again! The only way to have corn... 08/25/2007 at 03:37pm User: Dee from new britain, CT User Rating: This is now the only way I make my corn. This seasoned butter is so good that I just make it now and you can put it in rice, put it on potatoes or even grilled meat!. The first time I made it I had to wrap up parts of it for my family to take home to eat. I love the food network, they have made cooking fun again. Yummy! 08/19/2007 at 10:13pm User: Andrea from Oswego, NY User Rating: I really liked all the flavors in the butter. My husband loved every bite! refreshing and easy 08/04/2007 at 07:44pm User: mona from danvers, MA User Rating: i love this recipe by my favorite foodnetwork chefs. the taste was refreshing and was very easy to prepare. LOVED IT! 03/26/2007 at 12:57pm User: Laura from Falls Church, VA User Rating: I scaled down the recipe and it worked great. It was very good. Nice change. 12/02/2006 at 10:15am User: diana from ferndale, MI User Rating: Everyone loved the corn. I had trouble mixing the lime juice into the butter...it just didn't want to mix. But, even with that difficulty...it turned out great. delicious 09/29/2006 at 07:30pm User: Andrew from Holly Springs, NC User Rating: Perfect for an outdoor barbecue. I took the remaining butter and rolled it into a tootsie roll shape with some waxed paper and put it in the fridge. When its time to serve, you can just cut the end off and rub the extra butter on. Sweet corn 08/16/2006 at 04:27pm User: Glenn from Milwaukee, WI User Rating: The corn turned out incredible. Our guests loved it. But I also think that the corn plays an important part...happy picking. Very unique! 08/08/2006 at 06:03pm User: Christine from Las Vegas, NV User Rating: Was not sure how the corn would taste roasted with cilantro, but it was great!!! Just enough of a hint of lime to make it interesting, and my "picky eater" boyfriend is hooked! Good job! Thank you! Absolutely Yummy! 08/07/2006 at 09:52am User: Anonymous User Rating: We made this for a BBQ crowd last night and they couldn't get enough of it. It was delicious and we will be making it again! Fair recipe 07/18/2006 at 12:34pm User: DEBORAH from Baldwinsville, NY User Rating: This isn't my favorite. Prefer Paula's with the mayo. On the TV show they never cleaned the corn correctly which was a real turn off. Hope in the future it improves. Delicious! 07/07/2006 at 11:43am User: Anonymous User Rating: Was a huge hit at a BBQ party. The best corn I've ever tasted! roasted corn on the cob 07/04/2006 at 02:09pm User: Dawn from aventura, FL User Rating: I've made this recipe last week and my boyfriend just loved it. Cilantro Lime Corn on the Cob 06/30/2006 at 07:51pm User: Renee from Mabank, TX User Rating: I wanted to try an new way for my corn on the cob and I picked from the list a recipe that contained what I had at home. It happened to be the Cilantro Lime Corn on the Cob. It is EASY and tastes GREAT!!! I will be making corn this way every time now!! I wanted to love this recipe 06/17/2006 at 04:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: But the cilantro is just way too overpowering for corn. It's a great idea and cooking style, but the cilantro ruined it for me. good side for summer grilling 06/11/2006 at 09:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made only 1/8 stick butter per cob. It was plenty. I really liked this dish and will make it again. Pretty good 06/08/2006 at 12:52pm User: Sam from El Cajon, CA User Rating: The flavors were definitely interesting-different but good. The corn was cooked perfectly. My only complaint with the recipe was the amount of butter. It calls for 2 sticks (which for the butter I buy equals a whole cup of butter, half cup per stick) and it was way too much butter. Maybe they should put 1/2 cup butter? EasyPeasy 06/06/2006 at 04:39pm User: Kimberly from Ft Lauderdale, FL User Rating: Great corn on the cob recipe! I decided not to use as much salt as advised by the guys. However, I ended up needing to add it at the end. I have oversalted a few recipes in my lifetime & was very cautious with the salt. Well, the guys were right when they said that you need that salt, butter combo. Corn on the cob is always good, but this makes it better. Can't wait to try the flank steak with sauces. WOW 06/04/2006 at 12:56pm User: carol from rocky mount, NC User Rating: Fast, easy and delicious. Eveeryone at the cookout asked for the recipe! I can't wait to cook it again when we have wonderfully tender fresh local corn. |
