The thing that blows my mind - and makes the taste really special - is the addition of rosemary. I have always thought of it as an herb for meats, but this and several other recipes have shown me what a delightful, perfumed sort of shading rosemary can add to a dessert. I even created my on version of it: I braid the dought, bake it and top it of with sugar glaze and shreded coconut.
