Pretty good 12/26/2006 at 12:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The lemon flavour was great but I think that the tart shells need to be baked first so they're a little flakier. I'll still make these again, but I'm going to bake the shells for a few minutes first. lemon tarts 10/04/2006 at 04:58pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I have not made this recipe as yet would like to but want to make the tarts myself, why was there not a recipe for it??? I do not buy ready made food. GARBAGE BOUND 08/22/2006 at 06:02am User: JACQUELINE from Buffalo, NY User Rating: DEFINITELY NOT A KEEPER! I'M REALLY GETTING TIRED OF RECIPES THAT JUST DON'T WORK, & MOST ARE FROM THIS SITE! DIDN'T HAVE FROZEN TART SHELLS @ MARKET, SO I USED THE ALREADY MADE DAIRY CASE KIND & CUT TO FIT TARTLET PANS. LIKE ANOTHER RATER, MY CRUST WAS ALSO RAW, & THE LEMON WAS W-A-Y TOOOOOOOO TART!!! GOOD THING I MADE WHIPPED CREAM, OR WE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO EAT THEM. COME ON FOOD NETWORK, TEST THESE RECIPES OUT BEFORE YOU PUBLISH THEM! Barbara from Catherine 08/12/2007 at 11:13pm User: L from Thomaston, AL User Rating: Tarts were not very sweet--very little sugar (1/2 cup confectioner's sugar) to the amount of lemon juice (2/3 cup). Recipe said to put filling in frozen tart shells. I thawed mine and they were not done even though I cooked the tarts 5 minutes over the recipe cooking time. quick & easy 08/07/2007 at 03:50pm User: mary from worcester, MA User Rating: good for small families or people living alone. Great for entertaining 08/07/2006 at 02:34pm User: BARBARA from Wilmington, NC User Rating: I made these for the last 2 dinner parties that I had and they are incredibly easy to make and very good. I made my own whipped cream and flavored it with a touch of triple sec or other citrus liquor. These are definitely a keeper. lemon tarts 08/06/2006 at 09:46am User: Anonymous User Rating: These were very very simple to make. I used the little graham cracker crumb crusts which I think went very well with the lemon. The lemon is a little tart but the whipped cream helped mellow it out a little bit. This very good inexpensive recipe is definately a keeper. lemon TARTS!!! 08/05/2007 at 09:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: WAY TO TART!!! if you like that sort of thing, this will be fantastic for you. LADY COOK 07/30/2006 at 07:21am User: NORMA from SALISBURY, NC User Rating: INSTEAD OF USING FROZEN TARTS USE MIMI GRAHAM CRACKER TARTS THIS ADDS A VERY GOOD TASTE TO YOUR TART OTHER WISE V ERY GOOD.MY FAMILY LOVES LEMONS Not as good as I expected. 07/10/2006 at 07:57pm User: Donna from Evans, GA User Rating: The frozen tarts that we got might have been part of the problem. After cooking the recipe the tart shells were still somewhat "raw." Wasn't really all that crazy about the filling either .. was too lemony for us, would have like a little more sugar. We may try this again ... cook tarts ahead of filling and add just a bit more sugar for our taste. Almost everyone loved it 07/10/2006 at 02:00pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Was very easy to make. When they say TART they mean TART. If your not a fan of lemons you wont like it. If you like lemons you'll love it! yummy 06/22/2006 at 06:09pm User: Nick from Fairport, NY User Rating: these are tasty! don't be discouraged if the mixture looks soupy at first like i was, the eggs need to cook to give the mixture consistancy Delicious, easy but couldn't find frozen tart shells 06/11/2006 at 06:43pm User: Linda from Pleasanton, CA User Rating: Very easy and delicious. My guest asked for the recipe. I couldn't find the frozen tart shells at 3 different stores. I went to Williams Sonoma, bought mini tart pans and bought ready made pie dough which added a little extra work. Will definitely make again. Super Easy 03/17/2007 at 07:35pm User: Andraea from Seatle, WA User Rating: I was so happy to see something like this on tv. It was so easy to make, although I did put to much lemon juice. I will make this again and again. Perfect for deserts when guests are over. Adding mint is a great touch, as always. Paula's Lemon Tarts 02/05/2007 at 04:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Made these for a Superbowl get-together. Couldn't find frozen tarts, so I used frozen puff pastry shells, baked them at 400 degrees for ten minutes, took off the tops, and filled them. Baked them for 15 more minutes. Increased the sugar to 1 cup. Recipe made way too much filling for 6 tarts. Required some tweaking but they were good. truck driver 01/27/2007 at 07:55pm User: Debbie from Sandy, UT User Rating: I need things that are quick, and tastfull. this was great. the best 01/17/2007 at 11:27am User: debbie from Austin, TX User Rating: I couldn't get enough of these!
