Super Easy and Versatile 06/30/2008 at 06:14pm User: Agnes from San Juan, PR User Rating: I made this recipe for guests and they absolutely loved it. One of my guests did not eat salmon so I substituted a chicken breast and adjusted the grilling time and it was delicious. I actually make the individual pockets the night before to save time. Great after work recipe. Pretty good 03/29/2008 at 04:25pm User: Amber from Chicago, IL User Rating: Easy and tasty, but sort of boring. Wonderful! 03/25/2008 at 07:44pm User: Ellie from Poland , OH User Rating: My husband and I loved this recipe! Very quick and easy...I can't believe I was able to make such a fantastic meal on a week night! I served it with steamed broccoli which soaked in the mouthwatering wine/lemon sauce. Delicious! 03/16/2008 at 09:50pm User: lisa from encinitas, CA User Rating: Salmon came out perfectly cooked and flavorful. I left out capers and substituted balsamic vinagerette for the white wine and it was great!! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!! 02/17/2008 at 10:24am User: Janet from Winter Haven, FL User Rating: Once again, Giada has done it again. I love her recipes and watch her show everytime it comes on. The salmon was perfect, I didn't grill it, just, baked it in the oven for about 25 minutes, but also, cooked some fillet of anchoves in Olive Oil and butter til they were nutty and lovely, then poured them over Salmon with all the other ingredients!! I'm no CHEF!!!, but i was one after this meal! As I love salmon, I'm always on the look-out for salmon recipes. Thanks, Giada, it was as beautiful as you. Janet, Winter Haven, FL M-m-m-m!!! 02/07/2008 at 04:43pm User: Sue from So. Pasadena, FL User Rating: Hurray, Giada.....you've done it again!!! My husband and I have enjoyed this method of preparing salmon on a number of occasions, and I've shared this recipe with a number of people. It's fast, healthy, AND flavorful! SO EASY EVEN I CAN COOK IT!!! : ) really 12/27/2007 at 12:43pm User: Adri from Greenville, SC User Rating: I prepared this dish last night for my new boyfriend. He LOVED it. It was seriously so super easy and delish. It paired very well with the Chardonay, white rice and lightly pan seared onion, zuchini and squash. I did make a couple of changes>>I cooked it on 425 in my oven for about 25 minutes - rather than on the grill [salmon filets were about 8 oz each]AND I wrapped the Salmon in foil. I'm pretty sure he was IMPRESSED just as much as I!! LOVED IT -- THANK YOU FOOD NETWORK AND GIADA!! Decent first try 11/22/2007 at 09:59am User: Keith from Grand Prairie, TX User Rating: Very easy to put together, which is what we were looking for. Something quick and easy with ingredients we already had - not some wild stuff we needed to go out for. Maybe we didn't seal the aluminum tight enough when we put it on the grill because when we were done the fish was still swimming in the lemon juice and wine. Maybe we just put in too much. But, it was moist and very tasty. We like capers so we put a generous amount on. Great way to prepare salmon. We'll do it again soon! Fantastic Recipe! 11/01/2007 at 09:24pm User: Erika from Monroeville, PA User Rating: I have been making this with balsamic vinegar in place of the marsala wine for the past year and a half and it is the best salmon recipe you will ever find! I made it for my father for fathers day last year and he fell in love with the amazing flavor that all of these simple ingredients give. He makes it once a week, sometimes twice! It is a must try...either using balsamic vinegar or the marsala wine, simple delicious! Thanks Giada! Great Anytime! 10/31/2007 at 11:15am User: John from Houston, TX User Rating: We love Salmon and this is a very easy way to make it in a hurry. I use this on other fish as well now, and we have enjoyed them all. YUMMY and EASY 10/27/2007 at 12:37am User: Dulce from Chula Vista, CA User Rating: This is a great and easy dish to make. The flavors are wonderful. Big hit with the kids! good one 09/23/2007 at 07:05pm User: Anonymous User Rating: easy and good every time Absolutely delicious! 09/19/2007 at 11:38am User: Anonymous User Rating: This is by far one of the best dishes, hands-down! Also the envy of everyone else at the communal microwave at work the next day (yes, the SALMON reheated well!) great!!! 08/28/2007 at 01:49pm User: Anonymous User Rating: easy clean up too Luscious! 08/27/2007 at 11:01am User: Suzette from Elmwood Park, IL User Rating: What's better than capers and butter and lemon! So easy, so so fabulous. Easiest, most delicious salmon! 08/21/2007 at 01:23pm User: Beth from Shrewsbury, MA User Rating: This was such a wonderful surprise. The flavors were just fantastic and it was so easy and no cleanup! It just doesn't get any easier. I left the skin on the salmon (more flavor) and when I removed the fish from the foil, the skin stuck to the foil (good) and I poured the remaining juices over the fish. I think I was moaning with every bite, it really was that good! Best Salmon Recipe 08/16/2007 at 04:35pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Salmon can be a bit tough to cook, since it has its own distinctive flavor and is rather oily. This recipe is my go-to salmon dish because the flavors lighten up and brighten salmon so beautifully while still complementing its own natural flavor, and I just love the combination of lemon and caper. I also add some parsley and omit the olive oil, and cook it in the oven in the foil packet to minimize the mess. A no clean up, masterful meal! Unusual presentation and delicious too! 08/13/2007 at 07:38pm User: jane from mahwah, NJ User Rating: I made this today and it was really impressive. Beautiful to the eyes and tasty for the mouth. It was too hot to grill today so I made it in the oven without the foil. I baked it in the sauce for 14 minutes at 350 and it was tender and juicy. This will be great for company. Thanks once again Giada! salmon 08/13/2007 at 05:54pm User: stacey from vernon, AZ User Rating: easy but not enough flavors for me. i was expecting it to have more levels than it did. Our Favorite 08/05/2007 at 12:37am User: joyce from akron, OH User Rating: A great light and savory way to prepare salmon and most fish delicious and easy! 07/30/2007 at 05:43pm User: Diana from Hamilton, OH User Rating: this is a keeper! Tasty! 07/15/2007 at 05:14pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Delicious and easy. Our salmon pieces were about 3/4 inch thick and with a gas grill on low, they took about 20 mins. Delicious! 07/12/2007 at 08:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was a delicious and easy recipe! I would add less olive oil and more fresh lemons. Worth repeating! Fantastic 07/12/2007 at 03:10pm User: PAULA from Kendallville, IN User Rating: This is a perfect salmon recipe. The lemon makes it so light, and the marsala makes it so tasty. My husband can't wait for us to have this again! DELICIOUS 07/10/2007 at 08:55pm User: BOOTSIE from SARASOTA, FL User Rating: THIS WAS QUICK,EASY AND DELICIOUS !!!!!!! Fresh and just simply delicious! I make it at least a couple times a month! AWSOME 07/07/2007 at 07:59am User: Marie from Neb city, NE User Rating: IT WAS AMAZING I LOVED IT IT WAS LIKE AWSOME DUDE it's awesome! 07/06/2007 at 11:04pm User: Paula from Irving, TX User Rating: I'd tried to find the right dish for my salmon & this recipe is the best one I'd ever cooked. Love it! Good, but not great 06/21/2007 at 06:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Very easy to prepare (and clean thanks to the foil), but a little too bland for my liking. Otherwise a salmon recipe if your in a rush. Savory Lemon Salmon Dish 06/21/2007 at 02:21pm User: Sheila from Jacksonville, TX User Rating: My husband and I just loved this recipe. It was very easy to prepare and clean up. I served the salmon over rice pilaf along with a fruit salad. Talk about a great lite summer dish! And filling, awesome. I'll be sure to prepare this one again. great salmon 06/10/2007 at 09:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: quick easy and delicous Good easy-to-make meal 06/09/2007 at 01:03pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a great mid-week meal. Easy to make and tastes very good. Next time I might try it in the oven. The only "downfall" is that I made it with rice and wanted some of the sauce to slide over to the rice... a little hard since the salmon is wrapped up in the foil. I took it out, eventually, but it messes up the presentation. Really Good Recipe 06/06/2007 at 05:26pm User: BIANCA from San Francisco, CA User Rating: The salmon tasted great and my picky boyfriend loved it too. It was easy and fast to make. Easy and perfect everytime 06/06/2007 at 01:27pm User: Sally from Clovis, CA User Rating: I have made this several times. Fantastic This is a must try 06/05/2007 at 09:00pm User: Grace from Lakeside, CA User Rating: So simple and so tasty. You must try this fantastic salmon recipe. I ended up having some left overs and turned them into Rachel Ray's Salmon Cakes too. Also a great meal. I'll be cooking this recipe many times over. Great Summer DIsh 06/05/2007 at 02:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This salmon took no time at all. It has awesome flavors that are really tasty. This recipe is a must! AWESOME! 06/03/2007 at 02:16pm User: Chris from Bellevue, WA User Rating: Best salmon I've ever had! I'm shocked at how easy it is! Very easy and light! 06/01/2007 at 10:14am User: Viena from Miami, FL User Rating: This is a great recipe with barely any clean up. It tastes excellent! Excellent 06/01/2007 at 08:25am User: April from Orlando, FL User Rating: This was one of the best fish recepies I have ever tried. Easy, fast and wonderful. Have to try this. Salmon w/ rosemary & capers 06/01/2007 at 12:07am User: Cathi from Rochester, NY User Rating: This was a tremedous hit with my husband and son (also w/ me) The lemon is pronounced but not overwhelming, the rosemary is in the background and the capers make this dish over the top. Simple and satisfying. 05/30/2007 at 09:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Great recipe. I don't have access to a grill so I decided to bake it in the oven at 450 for 10 minutes. Perfect! Moist & Delicious 05/27/2007 at 04:56pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Prepared the fish before the Bar B Q. Wrapped it in foil and put in the fridge until 10 mins. before we were ready to eat. Then put it on the grill. Easy and delicious. One question, what do you do with the foil? Needed More Flavor 05/26/2007 at 08:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: A good recipe but needs to be ampted up a bit. I frankly prefer a salt and pepper rub with a high heat fry and a good tartar sauce. I really expected more of a pop. I baked in oven @450 for 15 minutes. Cannot compare 05/10/2007 at 04:42pm User: joann from tampa, FL User Rating: I have made this dish numerous times, and each time I have never been let down. I constantly get compliments and everyone always asks for the recipe to take home with them. It has such flavor and is extremely healthy for you that you cannot go wrong. I follow the recipe to a tee, which is really simple. The only hard part maybe folding the aluminum so that the sauce doesn't drip out. My suggestion is folding the sides first. It just takes practice. Enjoy!!! so good 04/02/2007 at 03:15pm User: Anonymous User Rating: oi Mouthwatering... 02/25/2007 at 05:57pm User: Tiffany from Pendleton, SC User Rating: I have eaten a lot of salmon in a lot of different ways, but I must say that hands-down, this way is my favorite. So easy, too! Delicious and fast 02/15/2007 at 08:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The salmon is really moist and great with a taste of lemon, love it! very good! 02/02/2007 at 09:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: one of my favorite salmon recipes yet! Packed with flavor and visually appealing, this is my new favorite recipe for salmon! Everyone loved it! D-LISH 01/22/2007 at 03:03pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I'm no chef, just someone who enjoys cooking. I haven't had much experience with salmon, but I made this for my family and they absolutely loved it! great 01/04/2007 at 10:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: this is super easy and delicious. A Beautiful Plate 12/07/2006 at 05:14pm User: Nicole from San Diego, CA User Rating: The flavors were wonderful and the plate looked beautiful. Not to mention this was a snap to cook, so easy. amazing!! 11/15/2006 at 04:55pm User: Alyson from Dallas, TX User Rating: Loved all the flavors together!! Big hit with the fam...make sure to use heavy duty foil. It was outstanding and very tasty 11/01/2006 at 05:33pm User: Scott from Kihei, HI User Rating: I grilled the salmon on low heat on my grill at 400F according to the thermometer. I had to cook longer than 10 minutes, roughly 15 minutes. Just check with a fork if it flakey-- it's done. Don't over cook it Tasty and quick 09/26/2006 at 04:10pm User: Carlo from Commack, NY User Rating: Didn't have capers but used garlic with the lemon and rosemary. Was extremely tasty and easy to serve with it's own juices due to the foil. Amazing!!! A crowd pleaser! 09/24/2006 at 01:38pm User: Heather from Columbus, OH User Rating: This salmon recipe could not be more simple. It has such simple, complementary flavors that you can't go wrong with it. Instead of grilling, I baked it in the foil wrappers for about 10-12 minutes. The best thing about this recipe is that it is pretty difficult to overcook the salmon. Oh, So Simple 09/02/2006 at 12:04pm User: Patricia from Fremont, CA User Rating: Bursting with so much flavor, and it truly was Oh, so Simple to make. The capers were such a nice touch to the fish. Made enough for the next night and it was just as tasty the 2nd time around. Great Recipe. 09/01/2006 at 01:16pm User: Janet from Wallingford, CT User Rating: I made 1/2 the recipe for my husband and I. I baked it in the foil packet in the oven. I was too careful about not using too much rosemary, which I love. I will use more next time. I didn't measure the lemon very good. Will you less next time and I will add more marsala next time. It was still delicious. OK 08/31/2006 at 01:17pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Most of Giada's recipes have alot of flavor, this one did not have the level of flavor I was looking for. It is healthy but I think the healthy aspect over shadowed the flavor. I am going to use it as a guide and play with it to make it better. Quick. Easy. Perfect. 08/30/2006 at 01:08pm User: Marilyn from Placentia, CA User Rating: This is a great recipe for perfect salmon. It's very simple to follow and there is no guessing on wheater or not the fish is completely cooked. The cooking time is 10 minutes and it was perfect. I will be sharing the recipe with many of my working friends for a great quick meal. Easy and Delicious 08/29/2006 at 02:30pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I really liked this recipe. My son loved it too. It was easy, delicious, moist and very healthy. The lemon/capers and rosemary gave the fish a wonderful taste. I am going to try this recipe with other fish too. Review from non-salmon eater 08/24/2006 at 09:20am User: JEANNETTE from chicago, IL User Rating: I'm not a huge fan of salmon but I find that grilled salmon is probably my best bet. In the hopes of trying to find a an easy oven recipe I tried this. I did not enjoy it very much. It wasn't great but also not awful...just there. I thought the rosemary was an odd combination with salmon and I don't think it works very well. Delicious and easy 08/20/2006 at 09:39am User: Cheryl from Palm Beach, FL User Rating: This meal could not have been easier. It prepped everything in the kitchen and my husband took the food packets of salmon outside to grill. Before I had time to finish the side dish that I was preparing, he was back inside with the cooked salmon. The flavor was delicious. wonderful 08/13/2006 at 02:25pm User: gail from Milford, CT User Rating: Loved this recipe, will make it often excellent 08/12/2006 at 11:38pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I have never had salmon with capers, so it was a real treat to try this recipe. Awesome 08/10/2006 at 05:08pm User: Tamara Nicole from Floresville, TX User Rating: This is a very tasty and simple recipe. The Salmon was not only loved by myself but my husband as well and he's very hard to please. Keep the delicious recipes coming Giada! little sour 08/08/2006 at 05:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Use less lemon juice (1/2 of recipe) and 1/2 of lemon slices- needs more salt and pepper than what recipe calls for. Otherwise , juicy so light and lovely 08/07/2006 at 04:50pm User: DAVID from Denver, CO User Rating: Made this with halibut filets last night and the results were really superb. The only problem is that the foil packets tend to leak so be sure to put them on a pan when transporting them to and from the grill or you'll run the risk of leaving a trail of fish juice. Quick & easy! 08/06/2006 at 12:47am User: Sharon from Austin, TX User Rating: This wasn't our favorite salmon recipe, but on a weeknight when you're in a pinch and need a quick meal, it's perfect! We found the salmon to be a bit dry, so we'll pbly try to increase the liquid porpotions next time. Safe, Easy and for everyone 08/05/2006 at 04:38pm User: Butch from Silver Spring, MD User Rating: Awesome and easy. Good for the conservative cook without a lot of work. I'm not a big salmon fan, but feel I should eat it more because it's healthy. After making this super simple recipe, I'm now a salmon fan. A hit 07/02/2006 at 01:36pm User: Anonymous User Rating: So easy and delicious.. Tasty & easy prep! 06/30/2006 at 04:17pm User: Carey from Minot, ND User Rating: My husband isn't a salmon fan, but I like this fish and love that it's so healthy. I prepared this with help from my two-year-old daughter, and altered it to cook in the oven (just put the broiler on and checked for doneness, though the rest of the recipe I followed...including making a foil packet). The fish was tasty and moist and my husband ate all that I served. I would likely make this for company since fish is a common ground for my family of non-meat eaters, and our meat-eating friends and extended family. A Hit with Rosemary! 06/29/2006 at 07:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I served this to a woman who HATES rosemary seasoning--- she fell in love with it when I opened the foil. She's now using this recipe for other fish dishes! Works in the oven too! 06/27/2006 at 09:36pm User: joanne from des plaines, IL User Rating: Made this recipe without the option of a grill, so we put the oven on 450* and prepared it the exact same way. Our guests commented on the impressive presentation. It was very tasty! Delicious 06/24/2006 at 05:21pm User: Linda from Pleasanton, CA User Rating: I took this salmon for our Music in the Park dinner. Popped it on the barbecue just before we left. When we unwrapped and put on the plate with an orzo salad, all the people around us were very impressed. I had two fillets left over and made a Salmon Salad from Paula Deen's show. Great way to have a quick next meal. This will be a keeper. Linda delicious and easy 06/20/2006 at 10:03am User: Connie from Yorba Linda, CA User Rating: I usually don't prepare fish at home for my family but this sounded so good. We generally only use olive oil and salt, but this was a nice change. My only worry was our salmon was thick in the middle- just pulled one to check and left them on for about 5 minutes more. Perfect! out of ths world 06/17/2006 at 05:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was a wonderful recipe. We saw this on tv today and said that is what we are having for supper. So my son who wants to be chef decided to fit it. It was easy and the salmom melted in your mouth..Try it!!!! |
