Great Dip, Just Add More Flavoring

The concept and ingredient mix is excellent. It tasted more like sour cream for me as well (I did use both the green and white parts of the onion). Just double the green onions and add in a lot MORE chili powder. Then the dip is excellent. Thanks Paula!

Wonderful, maybe the reviewers who complained of lack of flavor didn't use the green part of the scallions along with the white?

So good my kids scraped the bowl clean!

This recipe is so easy to make and it tastes great. It does help to refrigerate it so the flavors infuse together. It tastes like a yummy taco with sour cream! My son (who is a picky eater) couldn't get enough.

Everyone wants the recipe

I've made this 4 times in the last two weeks. Everyone loves it. I experimented using taco seasoning and a little cayenne instead of chili powder. I think its even better, if that's possible.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

I made this for an outdoor party and served it with tortilla chips. It was gone in a flash and I sent five copies of the recipe home with the guests.

I planned on taking this dip to a party but after tasting it over and over, and even trying the suggestions of others, I ended up throwing it away. I thought it was bad.

Try it but...

I tried this recipe and found that it took alot more of the seasoning to make it taste like it should. I cant tell you exactly what it is because I just kept adding in more of the dried powders until it tasted good. Its a good combination of flavors but just add what you need to your liking.

The Creamy Scallion Dip was a big hit at my party. Several people asked me for the recipe. I served it with a variety of Mexican appetizers. I did add a pinch of garlic to the dip.

I usually love most of Paula's recipes but this was just plain bland. I tried adding more of the spices and that did'nt work. So I added some hot sauce as someone else suggested but that only made it hot without adding any flavor.Probably won't make this recipe again.

EXCELLENT FLAVOR...& ..FAST!

Ok...this is sooooo easy and the lime just gives that final KICK! The only thing I changed was I minced the green onions, and stirred them into the dip (not just sprinkled on top). Also... I added about 1 T. of minced fresh Cilantro. SUPER EASY...with SUPER FLAVOR! Thanks Paula! You were so RIGHT! It's a wonderful change from buttermilk dip! Can't wait to make this again and serve it over Nachos!! Felicia

This is delicious. I took it to school for our potluck and got rave reviews. I did make it a day ahead and had it in the refrigerator about 12 hours. The flavors were more perky after that. This would be wonderful on a taco salad. Thanks Paula!! We love it!!!
