I made it for a small brunch and it was a big hit. I had other drinks available, but the favorite was the lemonade. The only regret,I wish I had a bigger pitcher! Great Lemonade 09/03/2007 at 03:59pm User: Robin from Morton, IL User Rating: This was so good! Even my son liked it and he is very picky. Error on the side of adding more water though. Crowd Pleaser 07/23/2006 at 04:45pm User: Margy from Orlando, FL User Rating: Had a party and this was the first to go (over the alcoholic beverages as well). Everyone thought this was wonderful. I added more water than the recipe called for (it seemed too thick) and I used Splenda in place of 1/2 the sugar. Good job Dave. Delicious Party Punch! 07/22/2007 at 12:25pm User: K from Austin, TX User Rating: This was a hit at a summer picnic. The rosemary is a nice surprise for most people. I took two batches and they disappeared quickly. Use the upper end of the water (1.5 cups per batch) and serve over additional regular ice so it's not too thick. Also, you can mix it with rum or vodka for a cool adult beverage. Either way, it's delicious! Refreshing Summer Drink 07/16/2006 at 01:25pm User: julie from Renton, WA User Rating: Refreshing and very enjoyable on a hot summer day. I loved the infusion of the peaches and rosemary. summer refresher 06/25/2006 at 05:51pm User: sharonda from montclair, NJ User Rating: I really liked this one. I would use less rosemary because it can be so over powering. the peachers were the star along with the lemonade ice cubes. My friends loved it at my luncheon. Nice presentation but needs adjustments 06/18/2006 at 07:15pm User: Ronni from west Nyack, NY User Rating: This peach lemonade looks so beautiful in the pitcher! I love the idea also of the frozen lemon juice as ice cubes-- an extremely creative and simple idea. When you taste this drink, however it is much too sweet and the rosemary flavoring is over-powering. I would only use a quarter of a cup sugar to start with (with less water when cooking the syrup) and use only one sprig of Rosemary for a nice flavor balance. My family all had mixed feelings about this drink-still--I would tweak this recipe and try it again. Wonderfully exotic! 03/11/2007 at 11:52pm User: Len from Villa Park, IL User Rating: Didn't know what to expect when I first read this recipe, but something told me it was going to taste good! The lemon ice cubes are vital to the overall flavor and enjoyment of this libation. Serve with the Grilled Rosemary Pork and Peaches recipe! Great for entertaining! |
