I found the ginger ale to add a bit too much sweetness so I tried it with soda water - much more to my liking. But the ginger is exquisite and elegant!! I'm planning to add ginger-water to other beverage recipes! YUM!!!

I watched the show when she made this drink - she only used a portion, maybe a third or so, of the ginger water, not the entire 2 cups. "Save some for the next pitcher" she said. I bet that's why some people had to throw it out. We enjoyed it - refreshing.
The amount of ginger specified was pretty strong

I usually enjoy lemonade made from concentrate, but this time I found it to be excrutiatingly sweet. For some reason, we found this drink to be worth only one star. Our system for rating-If we finish the dish-5 stars if we taste and do not finish=1 star. And anything in between is prorated.

The fresh ginger added a lovely dimension to this easy drink. I made it for my college friends (of 30 years ago!) this last weekend and we all loved it. Not too much of a punch, refreshing and yummy!
