Great way to use left over ham. Comparing this recipe to that Underwood stuff is like comparing Ahi Tuna to a can of bumble bee! I did not have smoked ham but had smoked paprika. mmmmm

I added some dill pickles as well and was pleased with the results. Tangy!

I had leftover ham and made this in no time. It was wonderful and so easy to make. Will definitely make this again.

The BEST Deviled Ham

This is the best tasting deviled ham we have ever had. The contrast between the sweet maple syrup and the savory mustard and hot sauce is great. It is great on toasted English muffin under broiler with slice of cheddar or served like dip with Melba toasts. Love it!!

Good for Leftovers

This was a quick, easy and delicious way to use up leftover ham. I'll try the pickles next time - great suggestion from other reviewers!

I love this! I only added chopped stuffed green olives to mine. It's like mom used to make, or close to it. Thanks!

Yes indeed...

Very delicuious, I agree with the other reveiwers who suggest adding Dill Pickle. A little Pickle Relish would complement it. If you prefer it savory, leave out the Maple Syrup.

To Much Seasoning

After adding all of the seasonings to the ham mixture, all you could taste was the seasonings and onion. There was no longer a ham taste. Make up your own mixture using maybe 1/4 of the seasonings.

this was ok

I thought this was ok. Needed less raw onion, as that is all I could taste, and a little less hot sauce. I like spicy but not so much in this recipe. Also, I think either a dill pickle or sweet pickle relish would be a great addition to this recipe.

tasty

Alittle too spicy for my personal taste. Next time I will reduce the amount of hot sauce, otherwise, a great spread for crackers.

I have been searching forever for a deviled ham spread recipe to use up leftover ham. I tried this today and you're right, it's a "winner". It has just enough spice to warrant the name "deviled"
