EXCELLENT,EASY 12/04/2006 at 10:58am User: AURELIA from Tully, NY User Rating: I made this for a brunch & they went over very well Fabulous 11/21/2006 at 12:42pm User: sarah from greenville, MI User Rating: I made this for my girlfriends and they raved, some of them had never seen purple fingerlings before. I didn't have white wine vinegar so I substituted with apple cider...was a little tart. I had left over Aioli so made more potatoes for my family and we didn't have any left! Will definitely make again. Fingerling Potatoes with Aioli 10/04/2007 at 05:26pm User: Jo Ann from Nashville, TN User Rating: What an easy and delicious appetizer to make. I used a very good olive oil and champagne vinegar which I believe is crutial in having a great end product. Keep those recipes coming. Watch the Garlic! 08/27/2006 at 10:37am User: Anonymous User Rating: I halved the amount of garlic it was still too much. Great flavor but be cautious. EWWWWWWW!!! 08/26/2007 at 11:20pm User: Darcie from Fort Collins, CO User Rating: Too oily! I really wanted to love this recipe but it had a gross aftertaste. Fingerling Potatoes with Aioli 08/14/2006 at 10:56am User: JO ANN from Nashville, TN User Rating: Best Aioli we have ever had and it was wonderful with the potatoes. Thanks Ina Can't Get Enough!! 07/24/2007 at 01:35pm User: Phyl from Stow, OH User Rating: This is an excellent recipe! Simple, satisfying, and just enough WOW factor to make it a great party appetizer. I made this dish three times in the first two weeks after I tried it. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. love ummm. 06/16/2007 at 06:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: easy and a real party pleaser. eeeeeeeeasy 06/16/2007 at 12:57pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Very easy and a wonderful, different side. Leave off the saffron 06/12/2007 at 05:35pm User: Anonymous User Rating: First whipped up a batch of aioli with saffron - extremely bitter aftertaste. Whipped up again without it. Fabulous. Rave reviews. loved the aioli 06/09/2007 at 11:52am User: DAVID from Denver, CO User Rating: Loved the sauce - easy and fool proof. I oven roasted the potatoes though. Cut them in half and tossed with some salt and pepper and roasted until they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Much more flavor than just boiling them. Nice little side 05/23/2007 at 11:02am User: Sondra from Haddonfield, NJ User Rating: Prepared this with some lamb. Everyone loved it okay but 04/15/2007 at 10:47am User: Anonymous User Rating: The aioli was too acid, maybe too much vinegar. Very garlicy, but tasty! 04/03/2007 at 01:43pm User: Jasmine from Chico, CA User Rating: This is super easy, I think it really should be rated as "easy" not "medium". The garlic in the Aioli was very, very strong, but it was still delicious and we had quite a bit left over. - The 15-20 minute cook time listed, along with the 5-10 minutes of steaming under a towel would have made my potatoes over done. I boiled them for about 10 minutes and they were perfect. Yum! 03/26/2007 at 05:55pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Perfect fast snack! Too tart 02/25/2008 at 01:34pm User: Sondra from Leander, TX User Rating: The aioli was way too tart, a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Next time I will substitue white wine for the vinegar. Lemon juice, zest and vinegar combined is too overwhelming in the acid department. Love it! 02/10/2008 at 10:04pm User: cathy from Woodland Hills, CA User Rating: At my husband's request, I made this again tonight and it was better than the first time. The garlic and lemon flavors in the sauce blended perfectly with the steak my husband prepared. I didn't have fingerlings this time so I used golden small potatoes quartered. I didn't have champagne vineger so added 1 tablespoon Reislings wine. Lovely!!! Ina... you did it again! 01/27/2008 at 09:10am User: Darlene from Fort Lauderdale, FL User Rating: Exstreamly easy and fun to make. My husband loved it and has requested this dish more often. Recipe is fast enough to make a nice side dish alternative after work. Yahoo! |
