Great Gift Idea 12/20/2006 at 03:35pm User: Lynne from Clyde, NC User Rating: This recipe is super fantastic. Its nice to have a different recipie for nuts ( not sweet) on hand for unexpected guests. Thanks guys! Thyme and nuts don't mix 11/14/2006 at 08:58pm User: Joe from Haltom City, TX User Rating: I like roasted nuts, and I like thyme on poultry and in dressings, but thyme and nuts just dont mix. This is the worst roasted nut receipe I've ever tasted. Having to toss out the whole thing. A must for a party! 10/28/2007 at 07:39am User: Debbie from Bossier City, LA User Rating: This recipe is really good, and has everyone asking what the seasonings are at parties. I use cashews, brazil nuts, walnuts, pecans, and almonds to make this. If you make this recipe as stated, you can't go wrong. I have added the Kosher salt with the other spices, but it's better to do as the recipe states, and add it after you have mixed the buttered seasonings to the nuts. I also have been using salted butter--you may need more salt if you don't. Also, stir these about every 4-5 minutes to ensure even browning. Fantastic 09/30/2006 at 11:06am User: PAT from Charlotte, NC User Rating: Easy & simple to make. folks always want more & ask for the recipe. Great to bring to anyone's house, or have at your own place. |
