Best Roast Turkey and Gravy I ever made 12/04/2007 at 11:01am User: Jody from Spring Hill, FL User Rating: Haven't roasted a turkey in years but I roasted a 10 lb turkey and it was devoured by everyone. The garlic cloves and onions in the bird's cavity permeated the meat in a delicious and subtle way. I placed the carrots and celeries like lincoln logs under the bird and it provided a stable platform. It was hard to believe the only seasoning I used was salt and pepper. And the gravy was perfection. Leftovers? All that's left is the turkey's carcass. Well at least I can make soup! Thanksgiving Turkey 12/02/2006 at 12:04pm User: Gregory from Salinas, CA User Rating: Great for a large group. easy 11/20/2006 at 09:04am User: Anonymous User Rating: so easy to follow Easy and tasty 08/26/2007 at 10:41am User: Judith from Jersey City, NJ User Rating: I'm not experienced with roasting turkey so I needed something easy to follow. All of the guests raved about the turkey. This was my first time making turkey gravy from scratch and it came out wonderful. It was ok 04/12/2007 at 12:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was an ok recipe. The turkey turned out good but it was nothing great. All the added veggies didn't give the turkey much extra flavor like I thought it would. Easy, tasty & moist 01/17/2007 at 03:44pm User: David from Ballwin, MO User Rating: I've cooked 3 turkeys following this recipe and they've all turned out wonderfully moist and tasty. Very little prep required or monitoring the turkey while it's cooking in the oven. |
