I happened to buy some endives the other day to make my usual endive salad (mix sunflower oil, good Dijon mustard, chopped endive and walnut pieces). I decided to make this instead, and so glad I did. Delicious and super easy to make. Thanks, Giada, for a winner!

fabulous and pretty

easy, super tasty, everyone loved this, even the guys, who normally wouldn't be interested in an all-veg canape.

Good Idea

I got relentlessly teased for making this. But I still say it tastes pretty good. I followed the recipe to a T and me and my daughters loved it. However, the men turned their noses up at it.

Scrumptiously Delicious

I made this recipe for myself - as a snack and to try out. It is delicious! I just love the sweetness of the peas and the chewyness of the sun dried tomatoes. The endives made my taste buds stand up and take note of each flavor. This recipe will definitely make an appearance at my next party. Thanks Giada

Wonderful dip!

I can see where this dip might not be for everyone. You have to love the sweetness of the peas and sun-dried tomatoes with the pungency of the garlic. If you don't love those things, then you won't like this dip. I, however, love it! It came together so quickly, I can see myself making it over and over again. I loved the idea of putting in kalamata olives. I'll try that or capers next time. This will go beautifully on the Christmas Eve table tomorrow.

Pool Party Appetizer

I had this recipe at a pool party last week and it was scrumptous and sooooo simple. As an alternative to the endive, you could use pita chips or even bruschetta. Fabulous taste and easy to prepare.

This was OK, my first "OK" for giada...usually she knocks it out of the park. It wasn't a waste, but it wasn't a redo.

A Fresh Bite!

This was very easy to make and the ingredients were also easy to find. I made this as a side dish and thought for sure my husband would hate it but we BOTH loved it. It tasted perfect on the endive but I might include some crostini with it at a party.

Bland :o(

This was not one of my favorites. Even though I love everything needed for this recipe, it ended up tasting bland. I tried it again and added kalamata olives, which added a punch of flavor, but I'm not sure I'll make this one again.

Ths turned out wonderful even though I used only 1/2 the sundried tomatoes called for. Make sure you use the sundried tomatoes stored in oil for a sweet dip!

Excellent Appetizer

This dip was extemely simple and tasty. It only took about 10 minutes to make. I forget the endive so I hollowed out some small cucumbers, slit the sides, and filled the cucumbers with the dip. then I cut the cucumbers into bites about 3/4 inch long and put them on a platter with some cherry tomatos. Later I tried the dip in endive and liked that as well. Well done Giada.

But the flavors just didnt' come together well; aw well. Giada, I watch your show and love your approach to blending simple ingredients to achieve great flavors: this just wasn't one of them for me.

I made this for my Mom and Dad for the super bowl a while back, and again recently. It's lovely looking, and it tastes great. The sweet peas are a wonderful complement to the slightly bitter endive. We all loved it! And healthy! Excellent recipe, thank you Giada. Your recipes are my favorite!

great appetizer and healthy too!

Easy, Taste Great, and Good for you! I love that it has a thick consistency w/o any heavy cream or mayo, making it lite. It has a sweet tang to it b/c of the sundried tomatoes. If you happen to have any left over, can be great on a hoagie or sandwich!

Kids love it

This dip/spread came together really quickly. It goes well with crackers and per the suggestion of another review it goes along very well with pasta as a sauce.

So easy and a bright, fresh flavor! The endive spears are a wonderful alternative foil for the tomato'y spread (crackers are good too). Only problem is the sun dried tomatoes mince up with the peas and turn the mixture a dreadful color! I might try hand-folding them in next time.

Great as a dip!

My husband and I loved this very simple, but delicious recipe. My kids didn't care for the sun-dried tomato flavor (but they'll be seeing this again.... hee-hee). I'm sure they'll eventually learn to love it, too. . . . all part of that "learning to appreciate good food" lesson in life.

I thought this was great as a dip but also as a sauce for pasta. Add a little pasta water to thin out the spread and toss w/ pasta. Grill some italian sausage, cut it on the diagonal sprinkle some parmigiano and you've got a meal.

great!!!

Surprisingly tasty !

I actually really liked this dip. The endive are a healthy alternative to junk food chips, but I have to say, I found myself unable to resist this dip with plain old Tostitos! The endive has a bitter after-taste. The salt of the chips with the sweetness of the dip was irresistible to me. I saved the leftovers (which I never do with dip) and ate it all the next day. Will make this again.

Simple and Fantastic!

You would think the somewhat bitter Belgian endive would cut the overly sweet sundried tomato and pea mixture. It didn't. This spread just didn't suit my palate.

This not only tastes great and looks great, it is a source of great nutrients. I served this as an appetizer while my husand and I were watching the Patriots rout the Bengals. My husband decided he wanted this for lunch the next day.
