This recipe is a cinch to make. I added a half teaspoon of jarred minced garlic to the mix. I served the green beans over a bed of brown rice with low sodium soy sauce and a sprinkle of parm cheese. My husband loved it!

This is an easy, no-fuss way to prepare green beans. I loved being able to just stick them in the oven and having them ready when the rest of the dinner was done. This is so much easier that fussing with a last minute saute and tastes just as good. Also has the bonus of easy clean-up.

Nothing wrong with these. I recommend using coarse salt, but make sure to turn them halfway through.

These green beans were a snap. Easy and super delicious. Even my non-green eaters cleaned their plates and asked for more. This was the first time I prepared freash green beans b/c we usually dont care for the chewiness factor. These (cooked a little longer than called for) were not chewy at all. Just wonderful. These are now a regular at our house.

I love roasting vegetables and never thought to roast green beans. The beans were crisp and had new depth of flavor that I never got from green beans. It's a simple dish that you can toss in the oven and forget about it as you prepare other things.
