We're gin lovers and we "ate" this drink up. Served it at a party and everyone loved the simplicity. Also, if you make a large batch with some leftover, goes great with tonic over ice. I'm making one right now!

Tried Vodka instead.

I read the reviews that thought it would be good with Vanilla Vodka. That had a flavor that took me back to my childhood. I can't remember the name of the cough syrup we had as kids but that was it, yuck. Then we tried it with plain Vodka. Very good indeed that way.

very pretty

This went down to easy, even the non-gin lovers liked it! I soaked some of the cranberries in sweet vermouth for a little kick! I shared this recipe with my friend and it was a hit at her Thanksgiving Dinner!

A Pre-Turkey-Day Test Drive

I made a batch tonight because I want to have them on Thanksgiving, but since they have been given only 2 stars... We like them a lot. Sure, it's not a "real martini" but the white cranberry juice works rather well with the gin (and I thought I'd have to switch it to vodka- I still might just to try it!) and sweet vermouth. The cranberries are sitting at the bottom of my glass- I haven't decided whether to eat them...but they have been soaking in gin...here goes...Oh that's sour!!! Oh well- looks seasonal. Give them a try! Happy Thnaksgiving!

We didn't like it

Tasted weird like spices or something. I think vanilla vodka would have been better.

I made these for our Thanksgiving dinner party as a non-wine alternative. These were wonderful! Festive and different. They will become a holiday tradition.
