simple and sweet 12/28/2007 at 02:57pm User: GINA from chattanooga, TN User Rating: We're gin lovers and we "ate" this drink up. Served it at a party and everyone loved the simplicity. Also, if you make a large batch with some leftover, goes great with tonic over ice. I'm making one right now! Tried Vodka instead. 12/05/2006 at 09:41pm User: Robin from Concord, MI User Rating: I read the reviews that thought it would be good with Vanilla Vodka. That had a flavor that took me back to my childhood. I can't remember the name of the cough syrup we had as kids but that was it, yuck. Then we tried it with plain Vodka. Very good indeed that way. very pretty 12/02/2006 at 12:47am User: Dana from Sisters, OR User Rating: Tasty, not too strong Great Thanksgiving Drink 11/27/2006 at 04:32pm User: KERI from Chardon, OH User Rating: This went down to easy, even the non-gin lovers liked it! I soaked some of the cranberries in sweet vermouth for a little kick! I shared this recipe with my friend and it was a hit at her Thanksgiving Dinner! not so good 11/25/2006 at 07:14am User: Illeanna from Groover, GA User Rating: this just sat on the bar no one liked this drink. Not as good as I thought it would be 11/20/2006 at 04:26pm User: Ya Ya from Morton, IN User Rating: Very dissapointing Needed a couple of these 11/19/2007 at 10:08am User: Anonymous User Rating: the dinner was difficult and didn't turn out very well but the drink went down pretty easily. A Pre-Turkey-Day Test Drive 11/18/2006 at 05:18pm User: P from Sterling, VA User Rating: I made a batch tonight because I want to have them on Thanksgiving, but since they have been given only 2 stars... We like them a lot. Sure, it's not a "real martini" but the white cranberry juice works rather well with the gin (and I thought I'd have to switch it to vodka- I still might just to try it!) and sweet vermouth. The cranberries are sitting at the bottom of my glass- I haven't decided whether to eat them...but they have been soaking in gin...here goes...Oh that's sour!!! Oh well- looks seasonal. Give them a try! Happy Thnaksgiving! We didn't like it 11/13/2006 at 02:14pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Tasted weird like spices or something. I think vanilla vodka would have been better. not very tasty 11/06/2007 at 12:14pm User: Christy from Louisville, KY User Rating: not so hot Conversation Starter 11/02/2007 at 06:31pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Unique blends - the ladies will love it Mayflower Martini 03/29/2007 at 10:46pm User: Kellea from Carlsbad, CA User Rating: We loved it! Still make them even though it's March! Festive presentation. delish wine alternative 03/15/2008 at 12:08pm User: Cynthia from Concord, CA User Rating: I made these for our Thanksgiving dinner party as a non-wine alternative. These were wonderful! Festive and different. They will become a holiday tradition. |
