This is the best recipe. Tastes like Thanksgiving in a ravioli. I use whole cranberry sauce to make it a little more rustic. The sauce is amazing and the flavors are very layered. Awesome. Thanks Giada

Loved them the first time I made them. Doubled the recipe this time and used a combo of ground chicken and pork instead of turkey. Gave a dozen of them to my best friend to cook for her husband for Valentine's Day . . . I'm still basking in the over the top compliments. Another awesome Giada recipe!! Grazie!

I have made this recipe three times now, and have gotten RAVE reviews every time I made it. The first time, I tried it with just my wife. After the first bite, her eyes got real wide and she couldn't stop gushing about how wonderful it was. The second time, my parents were visiting for Xmas. They are almost 80, and my father especially is a "if it ain't meat and potatoes, I ain't interested" kind of guy. My mother and father actually argued over who got to have the leftovers the next day for lunch. The prep takes some getting used to (getting all the air out of the raviolis for example, and the inability to really cook more than about 6 at a time in the pot) but it is SOOOO worth it. Give it a shot.

Amazing potstickers

User: LINDA from KANSAS CITY, MO    User Rating:
I made this recipe with Thanksgiving leftovers, mincing the ingredients in the food processor. It was really good. But since I made too much filling, I decided to use it later for potstickers with a Thai dipping sauce. Wow! Even better than restaurant versions. The cranberry paired amazingly well with the ingredients in the dip. If you like potstickers, you should give it a try, and I thought it was easier than making the ravioli.

My favorite!!!

I absolutely loved it and my 3 year-old and my 5 year-old actually like it too, which was great! This means I can make it again! Yeah!!!

I made this dish on a whim as my family likes to experiment with different flavors and it was a big hit. I really loved the hint of sweetness to the ravioli and when added to the cream sauce it was amazing. I would add a touch more salt to the filling, but otherwise this dish was a wonderful change of pace.

Since my husband and I were going to be alone this year, I decided to try Giada's recipe. It was perfect because we got the taste of turkey and cranberry without all of the fuss of making a huge turkey. I made her panzanella salad alongside it and that gave us the taste of stuffing. My hubby liked it so much he asked me to make it again later that week.

This dish is SO good. I did use lean ground turkey instead of dark meat and it was a bit time consuming making the ravioli BUT completely worth it! We have extended family in town for the holidays and I cannot wait to make it for them because I KNOW it will be an absolute hit. Thanks Giada for another awesome recipe!

I made this for Thanksgiving. It was really easy to make, really fun to make, and it was very tasty. It was a nice alternative to traditional Thanksgiving fare, and it was nice for a family of Mom, Dad, and 2 year old daughter. The sauce was a bit rich, so we used extra whole cranberry sauce on the side to eat with each ravioli. YUM!

I normally like recipes from this show, but this was terrible. It didn't look appetizing at all, and tasted like nothing. I even used more cranberry than called for, but this was the blandest thing I've ever tasted. I can't believe Gaida plans to serve this for her main course on Thanksgiving. I will never make this again, and don't recommend it for any purpose

When I saw this episode I KNEW that I had to make this. It tasted 100% better than what I expected! My husband raved about it until the last bite. I would definitley make more and freeze extra for a future dinner. I do think that you need to make a double batch of the gravy. And my suggestion is to add dried cranberries to the mixture. It was a wonderful addition. I also added some Romano cheese to the gravy. Do NOT hesitate to make this. You will make this over and over again. YUMMY!!

I really enjoyed this recipe. I think it was too salty so I would recommend using unsalted butter or not using any additional salt. The combination of salted butter with added salt was just too much and I like salty food! Also, don't be shy with the cranberry sauce- its delicious in the ravioli. Final comment- double the sauce it just wasn't enough. I will make this over and over agin.

My daughter and I love to watch Foodnetwork and when Morgan saw this episode she begged me to make the recipe. I thought it sounded somewhat strange but since Morgan is such a picky eater and really wanted to try it,I thought what the heck. Boy was I wrong, this recipe is to die for. I am Italian and my family has always made homemade raviolis, sausage, gravies etc. This is definately a recipe you want to keep and it really is easy, especially if you have young ones around that you can involve in the kitchen. Both my 15 year old and 7 year old had a great time constructing the raviolis. Another great one Giada!

I had my 10 year old nephew and his friend over and this was our activity. I made up the meat mixture (actually x by 4 to make extras) and let them make their own. They loved it and took them home and made them. I made the rest and froze them. They are a little big so next time I will try just folding one wonton in half over the meat. The sauce is very complementary and does not drown out the taste of the ravioli, as the meat does not have a very strong taste...a little sweet with the cranberry sauce.

What a great idea! The only change that I made was instead of breadcrumbs I used dried stuffing mix pulsed in my mini cusinart. I used brownberry stuffing, as the seasoning is already in the mix. In addition, instead of the homemade sauce, I used bottled turkey gravy, it was amazing! The next time I, too will add some mushrooms in the mix! Stacy, Ohio

My husband and I watched this episode, and agreed to make it. We're SO glad we did. I even had the leftovers for breakfast this morning. It was even better today. We did modify the recipe by adding the remaining ground turkey to the sauce (browned it up before making the sauce, removed, and added it back in later). But, it just made it that much better. I'm going to make this as often as possible, and change the fillings and sauces up. The use of wonton wrappers is brilliant.

Everyone loved this recipe! It's like that gum in Willy Wonka that tastes like the whole meal in one bite. You get all the flavors of Thanksgiving without the hassle. It's a lot of preparation, but it's totally worth it. I made a more intricate gravy than was called for (Rachael Ray's rosemary mushroom gravy that goes with her turkey croquettes), and it really set it off. I highly recommend this recipe. --YO

This dish was very good but I used plain old turkey gravey as the sauce. Had trouble getting the air bubbles out and should have trimmed the ravioli. I think once you get the hang of it you will know how to prepare it better. Only rated a 4 because of the uncut noodle probably isn't as good as the cut noodle.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one. I gave it a try and it was relatively simple using my leftover Thanksgiving turkey. I had all the elements as thay were used in making the turkey. Spent $2.00 on the wonton skins and the whole thing was delicious. I doubled up the recipe for my other roomates to share. It was a winner. The gravy was savory and mouth watering.Definatly a keeper, I'm told, for my collection.

My husband helped me make the ravioli while we sipped Perseco spritzers that Giada made on the show (Perseco, cranberry juice, and squeeze of lime). The turkey ravioli cooked up quickly and the gravy was delicious. This was a fabulous Thanksgiving for me and I didn't miss stuffing that big o'l bird.

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was my first time making ravioli, so overall, it was rewarding and fun experience. I tripled the recipe for the ravioli and quadrupled the recipe for the gravy (we had more than two people eating, of course). Unfortunately, the gravy turned out way too peppery. Next time, I know to cut in half (if not more) the amount of pepper for the gravy. I did add mushrooms and garlic to the gravy, which I will definitely do the next time I make it. The ravioli itself turned out good, but tended to want to stick together when boiling, so you need to keep an eye on them. I cooked them a bit longer than suggested to make sure that the turkey was thoroughly cooked. I will definitely make this recipe in the future!

My husband and I loved having a small Thanksgiving dinner for two. This was the perfect recipe for it. Although I thought the filling was a bit too wet when I mixed all the ingredients together, a little extra breadcrumbs helped pull it together. The sauce was super, but it could have stood a little less butter--some of it separated and needed to be stirred back in. Thanks for a new twist on turkey and cranberry sauce!

My daughter & I were watching Everyday Italian today & Giada was preparing this wonderful looking dish. We both decided we wanted to make it for dinner. My 13 year old prepared the ravioli's while I prepared the sauce & also some stuffing. My mother who is a picky eater absolutely loved these raviolis. I have to say I was a little skeptical as my 1st & only attempt with making a dish with ground turkey turned out horrible but this dish was fabulous! We actually tripled the recipe so we have enough for dinner tomorrow night as well as raviolis that were prepared & frozen so all we have to do is drop them in the water. I would highly recommend this dish to everyone!!

Excellent nod to the Turkey!

User: Prestina from Oklahoma City, OK    User Rating:
I am so tired of the Thanksgiving bird! Every year we have the same dinner so I decided to make braised lamb shanks as my main meat and as a nod to the Turkey (it is Thanksgiving after all), I decided to make this dish. I tried it out today (week before Thansgiving) just to be sure it was worthy of my table. OMG (ohmigod) this was sooo good. I did make some changes. I had already seen the picture another reviewer posted and noticed she added mushrooms. So.....I had no shallots so used about 1/2 cup of onion and one elephant garlic clove chopped. I fried the onion in the butter first until soft, then added the garlic for about three minutes. Then added some chopped button mushrooms. Also I finished my gravy at the end with chopped scallions as a garnish along with grated parmesan. It made about 16 ravioli (good sized). If you want the whole 16, double the gravy recipe, there really wasn't enough. Also I see the purpose of the dish she used on the show. If you pile all these ravioli on a plate and top with gravy they will stick together! Tastes fine, but not the best presentation. Use a large enough platter to lay the ravioli out individually. Otherwise it was excellent, hubby said it was the best ravioli he ever tasted!

Very Good

This recipe was really delicious. While my ravioli didn't turn out as pretty as De Laurentiis' (they weren't smooth and had many ripples - though it's possible I cooked it too long?)they still tasted great. I'll definitely make this recipe for a pre-thanksgiving party on a smaller scale.

I decided at the last minute after work to make this wonderful dish I saw on Everyday Italian. Since I work at Trader Joe's I was able to get all of my supplies right away. The sauce was amazing and the turkey-cranberry combonation was a treat within itself. My family and I were truly thankful for such a wonderful pre-thanksgiving feast.

A little time consuming, but overall, very simple and very tasty. I let the ravioli cook just a minute or two longer for safety sake, since it is ground turkey.

OMGosh, don't wait for Thanksgiving!

Made this tonight, because it looked so tasty. These ravioli were absolutely DELICIOUS and DH loved them, too. Used 1/2 lb. ground turkey, and had enough filling to make 20 ravioli, so there's another meal in the frig. You'll have to make another batch of the sauce, however, to cover the leftovers. This recipe was FAB!!! Thanks, Giada!

It is the best

I think this recipe is the best one to use when there is only two people that want to eat.
