not enough spice 12/03/2006 at 12:07am User: Barbara from Sun City, AZ User Rating: The chutney was good, but missing spice. It might have been better with a little ginger. I will have to experiment a bit. Wonderful Accompaniment 08/17/2007 at 06:15am User: Sheena from Clifton Forge, VA User Rating: I am not one to follow a recipe so I decided to do a slight twist on this recipe. Instead of serving this dish with ham, I grilled pork tenderloin medallions wrapped in bacon. For the actual chutney, my grocery store was out of cilantro so instead I added half a jalape?o for a little spice, more onion, less pineapple and more brown sugar. My husband found it to be delish and said I could definitely make it again. Thanks for the idea! Pineapple chutney 04/15/2007 at 02:14pm User: MIchael from Macon, GA User Rating: i prepared my ham a different way but i made the chutney just as described and it was great. Easter brunch favorite! 04/13/2007 at 07:19am User: Megan from Fort Drum, NY User Rating: This dish went over really well with my family for Easter. I loved the chutney...although I used less cilantro and added a pinch of ground ginger. I highly recommend using a cast iron pan for the ham...it gives it a really nice brown/seared presentation! Fancy ham steak 01/21/2007 at 11:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Loved the salty and sweet with the ham and chutney.
