We love french onion soup, so we didn't quite know how this was going to measure up....but WOW~! I would suggest using unsalted butter, and I will probably only use 1/2 bouillon cube next time because we don't like things quite that salty. I also added just a drop or two of worcestershire sauce. I sprinkled some Gruyere cheese on top right out of the oven. This will definitely be my go-to french onion soup. Thanks again, Paula, for a another wonderful recipe!
