Three stars because I was a bit disappointed with the taste. It was a way too egg-tasting even though I put a little more juice than called for. However, since the recipe is so easy to make and not very hard on the budget, I will try again, except next time, I'll try using some sort of juice concentrate to overcome the egg taste.

...Yet fancy enough for guests. Healthy and light, but still hits that sweet tooth! I used Splenda instead of sugar and it was still great. Thanks once again Giada! Love it!

I have made this recipe a number of times for company and I am always asked for the recipe. It is a real crowd pleaser....and not too fattening. I have made it ahead of time and put it in the fridge for a few hours with the plastic very close to the zabaglione. I actually like it a little better this way since it gives the zabaglione time to set and become a little thicker.

This was incredibly easy and incredibly delicious. I used frozen berries and defrosted them--it's less expensive! Awesome recipe, thank you!!

I usually don't like adding anything to berries but this is a very light, delicate, and sweet topping. I wouldn't make this all the time but very good once in awhile. Delicious!

After a very nice meal, this desert made everybody forget about dinner. Even my boyfriend who doesn't like grapefruit could not believe the sauce was made out grapefruit. It is delicate and an elegant desert.

Strange aftertaste

I usually give 5 stars to all Giada's recipes but I did not care for this one. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe I just don't like zabaglione this was my first time trying it. It seemed like it was going to be really good but it had a weird eggy aftertaste that kind of grossed me out.

I made this for a brunch and everyone was coming back for more. It was so simple to make and the colors of the berries and the zabagilone were vibrant. If you wanted to splurge put the berries and sauce over pound cake. Yum!

This was actually really easy to make. I found that by following the recipe, it tasted a little eggy at the end. So, I added a little bit more sugar (1/2 cup in all) and it was wonderful.I also found that with just berry juice swirled into it was just as good and it looked really cool with the swirls.

I have tried this with other juices and it is just as good. For my son's first birthday, we spooned the zabaglione over some angel food cake, and topped with mixed berries. So good.

Excellent recipe! Easy & quick to make for guest or just my husband and myself. If you don't like grapefruit, you can also use fresh orange juice! I absolutely loved this recipe and have sent a copy to several friends. This dessert is just perfect after any type of meal, heavy or light, it's just so refreshingly light!!! Loved it!!!

This is really not good. I cut the eggs in half and still tasted a bad after taste. Don't waste your time, berries, ans eggs on this. Terrible sorry.

This was excellent! The hint of grapefruit gives it a light, refreshing taste, and it's sweet enough to take away the tartness of the berries while not being too sweet! It's perfect! I will make this again and again.

This is great desert. For something good to eat that tastes as good as vanilla ice cream, without all the calories, this is just great. I am on weight watchers, and this makes me feel like I am eating heavy!
