I added mayo to my sandwich, but it was still not very flavorful.

Delicious Meal for picky husband

My husband pretty much eats beef and occasionally pork. I thought this would be perfect with the mix of sausage in with the chicken...and it was. The only comment was he would have preferred to eat it without the bun. Score! Thank you Robin!

This was "so quick and easy" for the sausage sandwich loving household. It was such a nice alternative. The potatoe salad was a perfect side even though we added a little mayo. It was a big success after busy running errands for almost two days and parental stress! THANK YOU ROBIN!

I like my onions and peppers soft, so I put them in the skillet together and cooked them for 10-15 minutes. Plus, I added pepper and powdered garlic while they cooked. And I used a Del Russo (sp?) sausage link and diced it as instructed. This is going down as one of my favorites!

Great subs!!!!

The subs had the best flavor. It was like eating out, I didnt know I could make something so flavorful. I had sent my husband out to do the shoping for this meal and he came home with the wrong type of chorizo. He brought back some mushy un-cooked type, but I went ahead and cooked a little of it and crumbled it into the subs and it was still fantastic. The potato salad was not a big hit but it didnt matter since the subs were so great. 5 stars!

Be careful with chorizo

I was watching the episode for these recipes and she called the chorizo "mexican chorizo", which is fully cooked, which is not correct. Mexican chorizo is never fully cooked. It is raw. Spanish chorizo or anduille sausage is fully cooked. Make sure that if you buy mexican chorizo, you cook it thoroughly. I love to cook and I must admit a lot of times I follow recipes to the t and I have found that sometimes all the information is not available. Good luck.
