I didn't like the combination of flavors. Or maybe I don't like snow peas.

Very tasty dish, I did make the mistake of not added the broth to the serving dish, that was a mistake. The broth was very very good.

I used snap peas because that was all that was available at the time. I was looking for a quick recipe to take to work for Easter Lunch at the ER. This is sooo easy, really quick to fix. Everyone loved these, I used the recipe as stated except I had Triple Sec for the orange liquer. I used dried mint, it was a little over powering for me, next time I want to use fresh. Everything else I did as the recipe stated. It was a great success. I did not notice the orange much but people kept saying,"I taste the mint but there is something else, what is it?" When I told them Triple Sec they said,"Ah, orange, I want the recipe!" And, it is very attractive with the sliced water chestnuts giving just the right contrast and crunch. I used a white casserole dish to serve them. Thanks,Paula, for a easy and tasty dish to bring to work on a holiday.

just okay

I made this a few times. It's way better with sugar snap peas ! The snow peas just get too slimey when sauteed in the grand marn. I throw baby carrots in this too. Also made this with String Beans from my garden and almonts...Very good as well....added a touch of nutmeg too !

terrible

I think the sugar has to vary with the bitterness of the peas you're using. I thought my dish turned out on the bitter side, but everyone else loved it. Even the one that never eats his vegetables.

I tried this today and it was fabulous. You have to be careful not to overcook the snow peas. They just need a few minutes cooking in the boiling water. I used fresh snow peas instead of frozen and I think that would make a lot of difference.
