We had dignitaries coming to my office so I made these. They were so easy to make!! I am in the military so made them patriotic with alternating blueberry and cherry toppings. They were delicious and I even had the health conscious convinced they were healthy with cream cheese, eggs and vanilla wafers!!

I had this for our 4th of July BBQ and it was a total hit. It was a bit sweet, so i'm thinking I can cut out some of the sugar, but overall, it awesome, and so simple. I wasn't sure how full I should fill the muffin cups, but I figured they wouldn't rise too much, so i filled them most of the way. They did rise, but sank as they they were cooling off, which created a little pocket for the filling. I doubled the recipe and was able to use one can of blueberry filling. I can't wait to make these again...maybe I'll try a different crust or topping=)

These were VERY yummy and a piece of cake to make. Like others, I had some sinking and spread the batter out for more than 12 cups (which works out well for the topping). My first batch sunk a lot. When my second batch was done, I kept them in the turned-off oven, opened the door and let them slowly cool off. They hardly sunk at all! It seems like the reaction to cold after hot is what makes them sink. A+!

These were really good. One of the reviews suggested to use two vanilla wafers so I tried that but next time I will stick to one. I might also try adding some lemon flavor. But they were so simple and turned out very good. I would recommend these!!

These were really yummy and easy to make! My only issue was that mine blew up to be these gigantic cheesecake cupcakes... I think next time I will probably stretch the batter to fill 18 cups. It made it difficult to put the topping on when they were so big. Other than that I loved them. Thanks Paula!

My dear Paula this recipe has been around since I was a young girl and long before my children were born, (oldest is almost 30). If I may, it is better without so much sugar, only 3/4 cup is necessary and 1 T fresh lemon juice really makes a difference. You can use blueberry or cherry pie filling.

I cooked in silicon baking cups and had to cook longer than recipe called for and then the tarts fell in the center. Using the silicon was probably the problem here. Other than that, the receipe was so quick and easy. Even though I had to cook longer they tasted just fine.

You have to try making these. They are so easy and delicious. My mother-in-law beat me to baking them (I meant to get around to it after seeing how easy they were on TV) for a dinner party I was hosted and I just craved them for days afterwards. Now I make them with different toppings... like strawberries or cherry pie filling.... all are sooo good. Way to go Paula Dean.




So yummy - just leave in the oven to cool.

I made this yesterday for easter sunday and it was a hit! I noticed that a couple of reviews said that theirs completely collapsed so I was worried. I baked them for 25 minutes and then when the timer went off I turned off the oven and left them in there for an hour and a half. The middles do cave in, but that's where you put the filling so it's fine. Make these - they are great!

they are very easy to make, but the only thing is when i make them again i'll have to put the topping on after i take them out of the miffin tin. but my whole family loved them and they eat them all. the only thing i did different was to put a fanned out strawberry on the top of the bluebreey topping. keep up the good work paula we love all the food that you make.

I have made a recipe for this for years. My recipe is made in a brownie pan and requires more steps. One thing that adds so much to the flavor is to add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the mixture before adding the berries. I think this would make a very nice recipe even better.

I love this recipe! I used graham cracker crust instead of the vanilla waffers to make the individual tarts. Then I used a chocolate crust to make a pie size tart. Either way, the recipe saved me! It's so quick, and all the ingredients are already in your pantry/fridge. This is the dessert recipe that is the most recommended whenever I'm asked for one! I love it!!!

I thought this recipe would be good, and made it for my Bunco game on Friday, but it did not turn out well. I could have done better just using my great cheesecake recipe, and putting blueberry topping on it. The vanilla wafers are too big for a small muffin tin, and too large for a regular tin. They just didn't measure up. I love Paula Deen, and all recipes I find on FoodNetwork, do need a test.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but they got very puffy they when removed from the oven, fell and shriveled. I followed the recipe exactly, but did have to bake them for 25 minutes. I read that another person had the same problem. Does anyone know why this happened? I've made cheesecake before and this result is a first. I really want to try it again, as I know the flavor will be fantastic! Love the different suggestions for "crusts" and toppings!

This recipe is quick and easy and I love it. Paula Deen is a very humble, down to earth person and I don't believe she's ever claimed to have "invented" anything. I never heard her say that but, if she did, I am sure she was joking. It's amazing how mean and nasty people can be, especially over something as trivial as this. If you don't like her, don't watch her show. Keep your hate to yourself.

This recipe is simply an alternative version to the mini cherry cheesecakes that home cooks have been making since the 1980's. The funny part is that Paula Deen used the cherry option on one of her shows and claimed that she invented it. What a joke! They were a little too sweet, you could cut back a little on the sugar and still get a great result.I also made low fat low sugar version that was good. I set out a variety of toppings for the fire station. needless to say they were all gone.

This is so good! I did use half the sugar though and it was still plenty sweet, I just thought that with that much sugar I may not be able to taste the cheese. I used cherry pie filling becasue its my fave. They hold up really well for awhile in the fridge. I made them 4 days ago and they are still just as good today.

I've made this recipe for years! The only difference is that I add a layer of sour cream spread on like icing, onto the top of the cooled tarts prior to adding the fruit topping. I usually use cherry pie filling. We love these.

Thank you, Paula, for featuring this simple and tasty treat! My family has been making it since before I was born. My great grandmother had this exact recipe printed in her church cook book many, many years ago. Holidays and get togethers simply wouldn't be the same without it. For those of you who have been having problems with the nilla wafer sticking to the paper- try using only the tin foil ones, it doesn't happen as often.

I made these simple treats for a dinner party with my next door neighbors. They went over so well, the four of us ate all 8 right as fast as we could. I forgot to buy the Vanilla Wafers so I used Graham Crackers instead. They worked out great. Lastly, we topped our own Tart with your choice of topping-Bluebbery, Strawberry, Chocolate and Whipped Cream for the final touch.

WOW ! I don't think you need another great review as all I agree with except for one anonymous viewer. These were easy to make as given and to change for even more preferences. I too used different cookies for the crust as to what I had on hand and used Splenda instead of regular sugar...Tried them several different ways with even just fruit slightly sweeten on top as well as different pie fillings. This is from someone who doesn't cook much except simple things anymore, therefore, making these was a joy to prepare and so tastee. Passed the recipe to others who have had great comments.

I made two batches of these. One batch using Splenda and one batch using regular sugar. I used Fat Free Cream cheese in both batches. They both turned out great! I think for using Splenda you only need half the amount of sugar the recipe calls for. The taste was a tad different in the sugar free ones but still good. (I also used a sugar free cherry pie filling- YUM!)All in all, for a cheesecake that is only about 90 calories per serving I can handle the slight difference in taste. Will certainly make again!!

These are quick and easy and make it look like you really worked hard!!! I find it hard to understand the comment about Miss Paula looking like a pig! I have every cookbook, her memoirs, her t-shirts and eat at both restaurants every time I'm in Savannah. I have so much admiration for what she has done with her life and her love of family and fans! I don't care how she licks her fingers and if SHE looks like a "pig", honey, I want to be able to "oink, oink" at her table any day of the week! You inspire so many, Paula! I love ya!

I haven't made this recipe yet but I use Splenda in dessert recipes as my husband is a diabetic. I usually cut the sugar measurement in half (using Spenda)I plan to use apples that I cook in homemade aplesause with a dash of cinnamon and "oh,My a tablespoon of BUTTER!"

It's too sweet for me. If you grew up in America and grew up eating American food, you might like it. But for those few readers who are not completely used to American desserts, be warned! I would advise using much less sugar for a less heavy taste. It will also let the taste of the cheese and eggs show through more.

Wonderful, quick dessert. Easy to make, and after licking my fingers, fun to eat! To help remove from the paper liners, spay them with a no-stick cooking spray before you fill them, then lick your fingers, cook, and enjoy!

I made these for my book group and they were a hit, to say the least. I couldn't give out the recipe fast enough. As for Annonymous @ 11:00. What a hypocrit you are. You blast Paula but yet you make the dish and probably stuffed your face with them. Get off this site. You don't belong here. No wonder your comments were anonymous--I would be deeply ashamed to say such mean spirited things about Miss Paula. I suppose you think you can write such evil words in this forum because you believe you aren't held accountable. Her enjoyment of food is a great manifestation of her enjoyment of life. If you are so worried about diabetes, then why did you elect to make the recipe with developmentally disabled adults who may not have the capacity to make good food choices on their own? These are easy and the best part, they are incredibly delicious. I used and use strawberry gel and fresh strawberries and add cool whip. Since my husband is a huge peanut butter fan I have put minature ressee(sp)cups in place of the vanilla wafer and then after they have cooled I pour choclate syrup over the top. You got it, it taste like a "big" ressee cup!!! Thank you Paula!!!

I made these for a guest from England and he loved them, so fast ,so easy and delicious. A few suggestions: I added 2 teaspoons of freshly grated lemon zest, and I used a high quality blueberry topping with lots of fruit, and frozen sweetened strawberries which had a light fresh taste. garnished with a fresh blueberry and strawberry. (I am going to try amaretto flavored ones next time I make them) I used foil muffin cups instead of the paper and I refrigerated them for 2 hours before serving. NO STICKING at all. Paula , I luv ya and you gon and dun it again, girl.

I couldn't believe how easy these are and they look like you slaved over them! I used fresh strawberries chopped finely and piled on top with Cool Whip. These little tarts are so easy and delicious. Hubby, not a sweet eater, loves them. The only disappointment was how small vanilla wafers have become! Haven't had one in decades. They just don't quite cover the bottom of the muffin cups. Also, it took 26 minutes for the cream cheese to set up properly. It seems to be a common thread in FoodTV recipes that cooking time is underestimated. My oven is calibrated, so I feel comfortable making such a sweeping statement. So easy, so good. Try it, you'll like it!

Excellent recipe for either an elegant get-together or casual as a picnic. I made these to serve at a summer garden tea and they were a huge hit. My granddaughter and I are big fans, Paula and I am under the impression that people who are the first to cast stones are usually very defensive and the most guilty themselves!!! I made these with the group of MR/Dev Disabled adults I work with and they loved making them, and ejoyed eating them even more. Paula is a doll, and seems to be the real deal. It is just so hard to watch her stuff her face and lick her fingers like a pig. I think it is a really bad example for the kids out there watching, especially considering all the juvenile type 2 diabetes out there from poor eating habits. I thought southern women were supposed to have manners. Paula, PLEASE stop eating like a pig. You are starting to look like one.
