This was so easy to make and the sauce is pretty solid. I would definitley reccomend adding a protein to make it a heartier meal (I added Hot Sausage). Next time I think I will shred some Mozzarella over the top of it before I put it in the oven...Oh yeah babe...

The breadcrumbs never carmalized--they just burned. I put them in the oven on broil, and turned the pan after 1.5 minutes and took it out after about 3.5. the breadcrumbs didn't do anything except burn. Not sure what they were supposed to do? maybe I used the wrong type? the pasta and sauce and cheese were awesome. next time, think i will omit the breadcrumbs and just sprinkle the mixture with cheese after the pasta is in the pan

great pasta dish

The pasta was excellent! Everyone loved it and I've made it many different ways adding various different veggies. The shiitake mushrooms are a great addition and adds a new depth of flavor to the pasta. This one is a keeper!!

Excellent!

The recipe was great. I wonder why the 4T of Salt in the water. I thought the pasta tasted salty when I tried it without the sauce. Also why the oil in the water? The prep time took me much, much longer than stated. But, it was all worth it in the end. Absolutely excellent.

My family loved this!

I thought the dish was ok. I didn't care for the breadcrumbs. Maybe without those this dish would be better.

Deliciosa!

I saw Emeril make this live and I have to say, it tasted just as good as it looked! It was one of the most easiest dishes to make. On the show he used red onion (doesn't specify in the recipe)so I used it and boy, he was right! Most people don't use red onion and they should!
