Could have used more meat - more like a sauce than a meaty chili. Also VERY sweet like others have said - def. use a sauce other than heinz (that was the problem). otherwise easy & tasty

everyone loved it

Not Enjoyed

The chili was dreadfully greasy and too tomatoey and sweet. The fries were quite soggy. The cheese was too much. Not an enjoyable recipe.

Easy OK chili

It's really easy! The chili is good, but it's a little sweeter than I normally like. Since it was so simple to make, I'm going to do it again & try doctoring it to my taste.

Tasty and fun meal for movie night or the Big game.

This was a fun and very delicious casual meal, not healthy but who eats this every day any way, only an idiot. I love your show it is one of my 5 favorites (Paula,Giada,Ina, and Tyler) You are a bright ray of sunshine in the cooking and entertaining world. Ignore the rude comments in others' statements. You ROCK.

Very greasy -- not much "chili" taste

The chili was extremely greasy (should drain meat) and had very little "chili" taste. It did taste like sloppy joe mix to us too. I'd make again with a can of real chili. Make sure you cook the fried to "well done" or they will be very soggy.

The chili was terrible -- very bland and sweet.

The chili tasted terrible -- like ketchup with a seasoning packet added. It was really awful. I'd suggest using another recipe since this one was bland and uninteresting.

Soggy and Gross

These were too soggy to eat after only 5 minutes. About like the picture. And we also thought the chili was way too sweet. More like spaghetti sauce.

Too sweet

I thought this recipe looked really good when watching it. Since I had ground beef in the fridge I decided I would try it. I think the recipe is too sweet for chili fries. It tasted like sloppy joes when I was done. I like my chili for fries saltier with some heat ( I guess more like greek sauce maybe). Well this came out way too sweet and I think there was too much mutard. If you like sloppy joes this would be a good recipe, otherwise I wouldn't try it. Sorry Sandra Lee!

Yummy comfort fries....

These had a good kick but were very tasty and NO GREASE pooling..... what a great change. I love her short-cuts and think these are a fun comfort food with a retro feel. You go girl!
