I threw it out in the trash, we had take out that night. pretty good 05/13/2007 at 08:36pm User: Amy from Brunswick, GA User Rating: Could have used more meat - more like a sauce than a meaty chili. Also VERY sweet like others have said - def. use a sauce other than heinz (that was the problem). otherwise easy & tasty everyone loved it 05/03/2007 at 02:18am User: Christine from Arcadia, CA User Rating: wow... this recipe is easy to make and absolutly delicious. YUMMY!!! 04/30/2007 at 03:21am User: MIA from EL MONTE, CA User Rating: OMG THEY WERE SOOO GOOD. MY 2 LIL MEN LOVED THEM TOO. Chili Fries - Delicious 04/12/2007 at 01:07pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It was really easy to prepare & my kids enjoyed it very much. The chili was awful and the fries were soggy 03/30/2007 at 02:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I won't bother with this one again Great Fries! 03/29/2007 at 02:24pm User: Cheryl from Harrod, OH User Rating: My kids loved these...i thought they were a tad sweet, although i don't know why they would be as we followed the directions exactly. Anyway, we WILL be making these again The chili tasted like ketchup with meat in it 03/29/2007 at 12:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: That ruined it for me. I'll stick to canned chili 03/26/2007 at 12:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought the chili was horrible. Not Enjoyed 03/22/2007 at 03:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The chili was dreadfully greasy and too tomatoey and sweet. The fries were quite soggy. The cheese was too much. Not an enjoyable recipe. Easy OK chili 03/21/2007 at 04:00pm User: Melissa from Goodrich, MI User Rating: It's really easy! The chili is good, but it's a little sweeter than I normally like. Since it was so simple to make, I'm going to do it again & try doctoring it to my taste. Tasty and fun meal for movie night or the Big game. 03/19/2007 at 06:01pm User: Shar from Carmel, IN User Rating: This was a fun and very delicious casual meal, not healthy but who eats this every day any way, only an idiot. I love your show it is one of my 5 favorites (Paula,Giada,Ina, and Tyler) You are a bright ray of sunshine in the cooking and entertaining world. Ignore the rude comments in others' statements. You ROCK. Very greasy -- not much "chili" taste 03/19/2007 at 04:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The chili was extremely greasy (should drain meat) and had very little "chili" taste. It did taste like sloppy joe mix to us too. I'd make again with a can of real chili. Make sure you cook the fried to "well done" or they will be very soggy. The chili was terrible -- very bland and sweet. 03/19/2007 at 02:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The chili tasted terrible -- like ketchup with a seasoning packet added. It was really awful. I'd suggest using another recipe since this one was bland and uninteresting. Soggy and Gross 03/19/2007 at 12:28pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These were too soggy to eat after only 5 minutes. About like the picture. And we also thought the chili was way too sweet. More like spaghetti sauce. Too sweet 03/18/2007 at 02:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought this recipe looked really good when watching it. Since I had ground beef in the fridge I decided I would try it. I think the recipe is too sweet for chili fries. It tasted like sloppy joes when I was done. I like my chili for fries saltier with some heat ( I guess more like greek sauce maybe). Well this came out way too sweet and I think there was too much mutard. If you like sloppy joes this would be a good recipe, otherwise I wouldn't try it. Sorry Sandra Lee! Yummy comfort fries.... 03/17/2007 at 07:31pm User: L from Madison, WI User Rating: These had a good kick but were very tasty and NO GREASE pooling..... what a great change. I love her short-cuts and think these are a fun comfort food with a retro feel. You go girl! Purrfect 03/17/2007 at 11:29am User: fdg from Weaten, IL User Rating: this meal is so delious I'l make it again someday kids loved these 03/17/2007 at 11:16am User: Anonymous User Rating: My kids loved these.
