Fabulous and Delicious! 07/06/2008 at 10:56pm User: Belinda from El Paso, TX User Rating: Fast, easy, extremely tasty! It kept us wanting more! Soooo good! 07/01/2008 at 09:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was such an amazing sandwich! I used brie, peaches, and just some mixed greens because it's what I had on hand. Amazing! So good! 05/24/2008 at 03:16am User: Anonymous User Rating: This sandwich sounds strange, but the flavors work so well together! It is a great snack! OMG 05/13/2008 at 03:58pm User: Melissa from Carlisle, PA User Rating: used brie and added one thin slice of prosciutto to each snadwich. The BF liked it so much he left the house to buy more bread for a second sandwich 10 minutes after finishing the first one at 9 pm. good 12/29/2007 at 02:35pm User: Andy from los angeles, CA User Rating: It was good however, I know these ratings are about the food, but I must wonder, how can a graduate from UCLA who has been living in America for 30+ plus years possibly get away with saying "littler"? What's worse is her attempt to speak Italian. Taleggio is not pronounced tell-ah-gio, and asiago is not pronounced ah-sah-gio. I don't know if she thinks that acting stupid will make her seem cute or she is just stupid. Great 12/17/2007 at 11:31am User: James from Cheektowaga, NY User Rating: This is such an incredible sandwich. I love it. Yum! 10/29/2007 at 04:52pm User: Kristin from Hudson, MA User Rating: I used apples, spinach and brie and they came out soooo good. I don't have a panini press so I just grilled them on the stove-top and pressed them down with my spatula to flatten them a bit. Great idea for a unique sandwich! Simple and delicious! 08/14/2007 at 11:57am User: Maria from Dallas, TX User Rating: I brought the ingredients to a "Panini Party" - - each guest brought inclusions to share. This receipe took top prize! I used red anjou pears and used the recommended taleggio cheese instead of brie. Use plenty of pepper; it really complements the other, sweet flavors. It was just, simply amazing. I'll definetly make this one again! Perfect summer lunch 07/24/2007 at 04:36pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Perfect summer lunch Another winner... 06/18/2007 at 12:44am User: ELIZABETH from Lake Worth, FL User Rating: I used brie and peaches and this was fantastic. Keep 'em coming Giada! Use whatever fruits or cheese you have 06/04/2007 at 03:22pm User: RITA from Dorchester, MA User Rating: I first made this exactly as Giada did and loved it. The next time I was out of taleggio (very hard to find, even in Boston) and substituted Fontina - better! Then I used pears instead of peaches - even better!! I think this is a great recipe to use whatever you have on hand. It can be a bit messy, smushing everything together on the bread, but still wonderful. emp 06/02/2007 at 11:43am User: Anonymous User Rating: Used can peaches; olive oil on bread in frying pan. Put lid on top to help melt cheese. Great Sandwich 05/28/2007 at 11:20pm User: Brian from Las Vegas, NV User Rating: This was one of the best things to ever hit my taste buds. Very easy to make and great for the Summer. Lite Lunch 05/28/2007 at 01:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My family loved it. It is a great meal for weekend lunch deluxe. Loved it 05/20/2007 at 10:31pm User: Tiffany from Danville, CA User Rating: Light, fruity, crunchy. I tried it with gala apples and it was perfect for a warm summer day. sweet delight 05/20/2007 at 08:32pm User: robin from panama city beach, FL User Rating: The recipe was simple for my daughter and I for a lite summer dinner. We also used peaches. We couldn't find anything but brie cheese, but it was excellent. I think we will try a variety of cheeses and fruit...we decided this would also be a great breakfast, too! Vegetarian plus! This is great! 05/14/2007 at 04:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used apples, brie, and spinach for this panini and it was so yummy! My husband kept asking for more. I will definitely try it with peaches and pears next time. Really easy, really tasty. Thanks, Giada! Give it a try 04/21/2007 at 01:56pm User: LISA from HOPEWELL, VA User Rating: This looked a bit unusual to me but nonetheless I tried it for lunch today. I used what I had on hand which was rosemary chiabatta, frozen peaches, jarlsberg cheese and spinach. I told my husband - this is a bit unusual, so if you dont like it - dont eat it(he will eat anything I put in front of him, whether he likes it or not, and never complain) - he ate 4 sandwich halfs - he loved it. |
