This is the best bar nut recipe- I added a little black sesame seeds as well as some dried pineapple & papaya. It adds the sweet to the spicy nuts. Also adds great texture & color- careful- hard to stop eating...........

These nuts are the bomb!! Everyone absolutely loves them. For friends that don't care for the "zing" I leave out the cayenne. This recipe is so simple and sooooo delish! You can follow the recipe exactly or use the nuts that are your favorites. I have shared this recipe over and over again. These nuts are an "I've gotta have the recipe!" recipe.

This is great - just make sure you do not use the ground rosemary. That is a bit much.

I was looking for something to give to friends that was quick and easy and this fit the bill. Male friends loved them, returning the empty tin with a pleading look. I made a much larger quantity than the recipe and it worked well. Plan to make more tonight - so good!

Ina did this years ago

This is the same recipe Ina did years ago and you can find in her Paris cook book. It is great but I kind of resent the Food Channel letting two chefs do the exact same thing. Ina even credits the same restaurant. I mean, come on!

Sadly, not that good....

I really wanted to like these. They did not have good flavor and stuck together in a weird way. I'll keep to my old way of making hot nuts: melt some butter in a pan on the stove, add nuts to warm and toast (almonds and cashews are a good mix), then add salt, cayenne, and a garlic pepper blend. They'll do you right every time.

Can't make enough!

This recipe is wonderful. Everyone loves them and I keep having to make another batch. The flavors are great together, it's easy to make and a pretty healthy snack.

Followed the recipe exactly, the rosemary is key! Everyone was asking for the recipe. This is a great party snack!
