This was a fabulous recipe to make when you need to bring a dessert to a party. Mix up the fruits to add a variety. I made the Lemon Bars and a batch of raspberry bars. People loved them!

Yum!

These bars were really simple and tasty. However I think I might need to add more butter or something to the graham cracker mix next time, because it was very crumbly and didn't stick together at all. Also, there was a lot of time spent waiting for things to cool etc., so it wasn't as quick as it appeared to be on the show.

I do not eat cheesecake often, but my sister and I wanted to make something special to take to a dinner with friends. This got rave reviews from everyone and certainly ended the night on a sweet note. They are great as an indulgence, but not too often.

Excellent!

I just made these for a party and everyone loved them. So easy to make, too. Recipe doubles well for a larger 18x9 pan too.

This recipe tastes even better than it sounds. I love lemon and added the juice of another 1/2 lemon with the recipe and it gives perfect tartness. One note: I was able to cut 20 good sized bars instead of 10 out of the 9X9 pan. This is sure to become a hit with my family and friends!

very good!

I made these for a dinner party and overall they were very good and easy to prepare. I followed the recipe to the tee, but I actually found that there was very little 'lemony flavor' to the bars. They tasted like cheese cake with blueberries on top. I did like them enough to make them again in the future.

I love blueberrys and this recipe is awesome!

I made this last September for a family get together and we loved them...I managed to set aside a few squares for my co-workers and they loved them too! I am looking forward to making these again; probably for Easter and definitely during the summer time. They are so refreshing and scrumptious!!

Very good and easy

I made some changes. My sister cannot have gluten so I substituted gluten and wheat free ginger snap cookies for the graham crackers. I used 1 1/2 cups of the ground crackers. It turned out perfect.

These cheesecake bars are wonderful. Really, really wonderful. Creamy, the crust was just right with the cinnamon. We are not big lemon lovers, so I did not use the zest, just the juice of 2 lemons. The flavor for our taste was perfection. Thank you Tyler.

It was very easy to make and looking good, too! Parchment paper worked very very good and EASY TO CUT!!! Usually, cheesecake can be pretty thick and too rich for me and my husband, but it wasn't like that at all. Right texture and Lemon flavor was perfect! Only one thing I changed was I used raspberries instead of blueberries. It just because I had it in my freezer. I thawed them and wait for drying them and sprinkle with sugar before putting them on the filling. It worked perfectly and I will definitely try with blueberries next time because I know this recipe is great!!

Perfect every time

Yummy and Tart!

For the person asking measure of graham crumbs. I broke up the 9 crackers, as called for in the recipe, and measured after processing them and it came to 1 1/2 cups, if you are using packaged graham cracker crumbs. I agree it is a bit tart. I like it that way but my spouse doesn't, so I would probably cut back or not use the lemon zest. I used 2 average size lemons(not huge like some come). I didn't have enough parchment paper so I used wax paper(suggested on line for substitution) instead. you can't "lift out" like you would with parchment, but it did slide out of the pan easily for cutting, after cooling.

Cheesecake to die for

loved the ease of preperation and how well the desert turned out. The only draw back was it was a bit to tart. I won't use the lemon peel next time other than that my family loved it!

This was a great and easy recipe, my guests loved it! One word of advice- don't forgo the parchment paper. Simply buttering the pan will not suffice, the crust will stick like a rock to the pan. Also, if ou don't have a food processor, just use an electric mixer.

Awesome and Easy

These bars were very easy and quick. The easiest thing I made for dinner and IMHO, the best. But then, dessert's always the best part of the meal.

This is a great desert to make "healthy"! Nothing is lost by subbing splenda for the sugar and using fat-free cream cheese.

Great flavor, just a crumbly crust

User: Jill from Kirkland, WA    User Rating:
The flavor of this recipe was WONDERFUL!! I will definitely make these again. I did have some trouble with the crust - it separated from the cheesecake and was a little crumbly. Next time, I'll try adding a bit more butter to give it a little more moisture to avoid crumbling. Other than that, LOVED IT!

Served at a bridge luncheon and was enjoyed by all. Don't see the necessity of using the parchment paper. Will try again just baking in buttered pan.

I've never had much luck with crusts or cheesecake, but both came out perfectly with this recipe. The cinnamon adds so much to the crust, and the filling is ultra creamy and lightly flavored with the lemon. The hardest thing is waiting for it to cool and set before digging in!! A winner, for sure.

Very, very good

These were very good. Both these and the full size cheescake are very simply, and have a great texture and flavour. The one issue with this recipe is the measurement for the Graham Crumbs... you may have to adjust the "9 crakers" quantity. A more uniform unit of measure for this ingredient would be great...

Excellent

I love the flavors of lemon and blueberry together but this recipe was a little tart. I will definitely try to make the dessert again but maybe with a little less lemon juice/zest. For a change in flavor, I would also substitute blackberry for blueberry.

My teenage daughter made these for her graduation party....awesome. You can actually cut into smaller squares as well. There was some "crack lines" in the cheesecake after baking---would a water bath eliminate this?

Easy and delicious!
