Outstanding! 07/09/2008 at 03:38pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I had my butcher de-bone abd butterfly the chicken. We grilled the chicken and it was so flavorful and moist. Will definitely make again. wonderful 07/04/2008 at 06:33pm User: jill from redwood city, CA User Rating: We made this last week with chicken breasts only. Moist and full of flavor! Delish 06/14/2008 at 02:00pm User: Jill from Harrisonburg, VA User Rating: This is a wonderful, flavorful way to cook boring chicken. You dont have to use whole chickens and/or butterfly them--whole chickens in the oven work fine as do regular breasts, as long as they have the skin on. Delicious! BAD 05/28/2008 at 05:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: NOT GOOD Very, very tasty 05/04/2008 at 07:50am User: Anonymous User Rating: I love a meal that allows me and my husband to work together in the kitchen, and this fits the bill. He researched online how to debone and butterfly a chicken (it wasn't as hard as it sounds). The taste of this dish is incredible! Two notes on the recipe: we almost doubled the ingredients for the paste and we cooked it longer than 12 minutes. Great 03/11/2008 at 03:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used skin on, bone in chicken breast and roasted it in the oven. WONDERFUL! Yummy Yummy Yummy 11/26/2007 at 11:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was the one of the best chicken dishes ever. So flavorful, suculent, juicy. Truly amazing. We loved this one. Thanks I guess we hate rosemary 09/11/2007 at 08:25pm User: Sara from Forest Hills, NY User Rating: My boyfriend and I threw this out. It wasn't our cup of tea. Make sure you like rosemary and you use fresh leaves. Great Chicken 08/26/2007 at 08:41am User: Anonymous User Rating: Simply wonderful to make and eat Butterflied Chicken 08/09/2007 at 01:53pm User: judy from marco island, FL User Rating: This is fabulous! The flavors are wonderful..instead of grilling the chicken I baked it at 375 for 1 hour.. it was fabulous! Thanks Ina..as usual another great recipe! Delicious but I don't think I'd call it easy 08/07/2007 at 10:27am User: joyce from manchester, MO User Rating: I deboned and butterflied the chickens myself, and doing the legs was not that easy so I'm not sure I would have said the recipe is easy unless you have a butcher willing to do the work for you--I do not. Once you do the chickens, the rest is a snap and makes for one flavorful, delicious interesting way to cook chicken. I marinated chickens overnight and served with her herb potato salad also held overnight and the combo was delicious. Wonderful Flavor w/out Grilling 08/03/2007 at 09:59pm User: Briggs from Saint Charles, IL User Rating: I tried this wonderful marinade on split chicken breasts--I just cut the recipe in half for 3 nice-sized breasts. Since we don't have a grill, I baked these at 350 for 45-50 minutes in the oven (I drizzed w/additional oil after marinating). They turned out wonderful...tender, full of flavor. It's probably better to use fresh rosemary as this really lent the unique flavor to the dish. KILLER 08/01/2007 at 08:57pm User: KYRA from houston, TX User Rating: Best flavored chicken EVER. Just took a bit longer on our grill! Will make this 1-2 x week! Great!! 08/01/2007 at 09:13am User: Bailey from Houston, TX User Rating: I Loved this recipe!! It was so easy and fast!! The only thing i suggest is to make sure you use fresh tyme, b/c there grocery store was out the day I made it and has to use the kind from the container and it did not taste the same. The chicken still tasted great just not as good. Enjoy!! It was okay 07/30/2007 at 12:57pm User: Brenda from Coldwater, MI User Rating: I didn't have fresh rosemary or garlic, so I used dried rosemary and garlic powder. I didn't think it had much flavor; next time I'll use fresh herbs. Also, I butterflied the chicken myself. Type in "how to butterfly a chicken" on google ~ the first result that came up was from "virtual weber bullet" and it was a You Tube video. It was great, and I had no problems butterflying the chicken. Give it a try! You'll feel like a pro! Every Night 07/02/2007 at 11:37am User: Alisha from McDonough, GA User Rating: My husband LOVES this chicken. I cook it once a week. It will make you look like a professional on the grill. Easy and delicious!!! Love Ina. Very Good 06/19/2007 at 09:04pm User: alexandra from Rahway, NJ User Rating: Rahway, NJ Delicious 06/18/2007 at 10:30am User: Barbara from Huntersville, NC User Rating: Tried this recipe over the weekend. The meat dept at my local grocery store could not debone the chicken, so I used chicken thighs. I think many areas do not have a butcher shop in their area to accomidate special recipes. But we enjoyed using the chicken thighs. Both my husband and I enjoyed a new way to prepare chicken. Love that grilled chicken taste. Fantastic!! 06/15/2007 at 07:06am User: Anonymous User Rating: This marinade is fantastic! This recipe is a keeper, for sure. It is super flavorful without being overpowering. The chicken was tender, as well. My husband and I will put this in our "family favorites" file. Awesome 06/04/2007 at 09:11am User: Anonymous User Rating: Very flavorful, great summer dish. I can't wait to make it again! You have to cook it longer than the 12 mins a side - it's more like 13-17 mins a side. It goes particularly well w/the orzo w/roasted vegetables from the Parties cookbook. |
