Fresh and Easy 09/29/2007 at 06:04pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a fast and easy meal. Because there are few ingredients they need to be really fresh. I used the butter lettuce that is still growing in it's package and purchsed bakery bread. Also, I don't like mayo, so used creamy Ceasar dressing, it was delicious. WONDERFUL 08/31/2007 at 12:43pm User: Anonymous User Rating: SIMPLE AND WONDERFUL... 60's flashback 08/28/2007 at 04:11pm User: bobbie from Pinconning, MI User Rating: As a child of the 6-'s out in LA this sandwich was a staple. Adding some fresh alfalfa sprouts would have made it a 5 star ***** Love it! 08/26/2007 at 07:06pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My thought... 08/24/2007 at 05:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Do we really need a recipe for a BLT w/ avacado? Loved It! 08/21/2007 at 11:41am User: Lindsey from Rochester, NY User Rating: This was really simple to make, and very tasty. Cooking the bacon was a great suggestion. Simple and Delicious 06/25/2007 at 03:39pm User: LINDA from Delran, NJ User Rating: Great recipe for BLTs - you won't believe the difference the avacado makes to turn this into something really special. I made on sourdough bread and we LOVED it! As usual, Ina doesn't disappoint. Tasty Sandwich 05/17/2008 at 07:23pm User: Janet from St. George, UT User Rating: We all enjoyed these sandwiches. The only complaint was that they were a little hard to eat due to the slippery avocado. I would suggest cutting these in four triangles and securing each with a pick as with a club sandwich. Otherwise, they were very tasty and we will certainly have them again. The BEST sandwhich I have ever had. 04/14/2008 at 08:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Hands down. Each bite is better than the next. Very good 04/06/2008 at 06:08pm User: Patricia from Bellevue, NE User Rating: I love this type of BLT but I like mine even better/ I put the same fixings on croissant rolls and it is yummy. OMG !!!!! 03/20/2008 at 10:44pm User: Becky from Boise, ID User Rating: I have been cooking for many years and my 5 member family agrees that this is the best BLT we've ever had !!! I had it with some store bought Minestrone soup. Talk about quick and easy. Baking the bacon makes the flavor totally different and I used lime juice instead of lemon juice on the avocado and it worked just as well. I will do this recipe again...with out a doubt !!!! Delicious! 03/18/2008 at 08:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was soo delicious! Make sure and use the best ingredients you can get because it's so fresh tasting and it just wonderful with the buttery avocado. I added a little dijon mustard with the mayo & used good whole bread! Definitely try this!! The only way to make a BLT 02/29/2008 at 11:08am User: Lorraine from Millville, NJ User Rating: Just as easy as a plain ol' BLT but SO much more flavor. Positively decadent! It's the only way we eat 'em in my house now. |
